Sugar isn't a carcinogen but sugar is an oxidizing agent. Too much sugar in your blood means your blood is now corrosive to the body.
That is what diabetes does- it slowly dissolves your inside due to corrosive nature of sugar toward cell linings.

We need to impose a diabetes surcharge tax on these kind of products. This is one expansion that we can do without. Diabetes is a real problem and silent killer.

Why? Nobody's forcing you to drink that. People need to be more aware, that's it.

I understand the love and hate for cold drinks . Personally, I avoid them too, but there’s no denying that they’re a real lifesaver in India’s harsh climate. Sugarcane juice/ sattu/ nimbu paani is a healthier option, but it takes time to prepare and can’t always meet the quick demand. Instead of banning these drinks, they should be improved with healthier alternatives to offer better choices for everyone.

yeah, it's already feeling like 36-38 degree cels where i live, and it's just march yet

heat waves are becoming common, last year i lost someone precious to me-us during scorched heat waves of late april, will update about it later

BUT along with temperature, the real culprit that's making it unbearable for us, is fucking HUMIDITY - something related to the quoted post later

like yeah, sukha parts of North-West are turning green at various places, then you have canal networks like Narmada and so bringing waters to far off lands; but the amount of humidity that's gone up is also making it unbearable during summers and heat waves

there is a great scope for dehumidifier machines in this part of world, but alas those things are as expensive as AC machines as they're part AC themselves and very few people actually use it here so must being imported
