grt....do we making sea water desalination plant or not??? how many desalination plant we hv? any idea. its very important for us to build these. coz india is/will facing water crisis.

Don't know about plants, but in India BARC has R&D'd a lot of desalination technologies. From what I remember, they have a dedicated Working Group that works on desalination andmembrane technologies. One of the tech to come out of it is an ultrafiltration membrane. BARC later gave this tech as ToT to some Gujarati domestic Water purifier company. And that company integrated it with a multistage purifier and sells it with BARC branding. I use that filter in my home. The BARC UF candle has a life of 2 years. Works great. And no nonsense "service" required for the filter. Fully DIY. Better than RO crap.

Additional progress includes 383 km of pier work, 401 km of foundation work, and 326 km of girder casting.

Meanwhile, construction of station buildings is advancing rapidly, with thematic bullet train stations taking shape across the route. Track laying has also commenced, with 157 km of reinforced concrete (RC) track beds completed in Gujarat. High-tech rolling stock depots are simultaneously being developed in both Maharashtra and Gujarat.
