Wonder how did they manage to convince PMSA ?

ICGS Agrim is both smaller and under-armed than PMSS Nusrat which is a Barkat-class patrol craft - https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/pakistan/p-barkat.htm

Possibly threatening armed intervention with additional assets?

Not very familiar with how Naval skirmishes takes place, but being the heavier and more armed ship, PMSS Nusrat could have just ignored ICGS ship and waited for backup.

Even if there is a shooting battle PMSS Nusrat can easily tank 1x 30mm CR91 gun compared to 2X 37mm gun + 4 X 25mm gun of Nusrat ?
