That has been the long term plans anyways. 22 Regiments of Pinaka in total. What is to be seen is if it is for Mk-2 only excluding the longer range Mk-3/4 or is inclusive of all Pinaka systems.

mk3/4/5/6 etc does not matter if they are 214mm. If the diameter varies, then possibly they will need different launcher setups and likely bigger/wider trucks (highly doubt the current truck can handle 400mm rockets for example)

Na, you can just use modified launch canister, that hold less no. Of the larger rockets on the same platform.

For example, the 300km range guided rocket in development, one canister will most likely only carry one such rocket.
So two such rocket on two canister per truck.

As for 120km range pinaka in development.
1 canister will carry 4 such rockets.

As for all rest of lower range pinaka( 30-75km), one canister can carry 6.
