MDL in it's concall said they'll deliver 2 P17As this year. 1 in July, the other in Nov. GRSE should deliver atleast 1, if GSL manages to deliver the Triput, IN will be getting a total of 6 Frigates in 2025. Massive!

Nice catch

Sanjeev Zarbade: And sir, my next question was regarding the P17A in which we have pending order book of
13,493 crores. In what time frame is it executable sir and in what in terms of...?

Capt. Jagmohan: Yes, we're delivering the second ship next month and there are 4 ships, one is already been
delivered. The second ship will be delivered next month. The third ship will be delivered may
be in the month of November
. And the 4th ship will be the only one pending in the next financial
year, that also we expect to deliver by April '26

Triput in 2025? Lol, how? It wont be inducted before 2027.
The others are most likely possible. This year we would see induction of 4 Frigates!

Possible, that's why I said "if" they're able to deliver it. Hoping against hope. 1 P17A is already delivered, 1 Talwar already delivered. 3 more to go, that makes it 5 this year.

The return flight of a British F-35B Lightning II STOVL that made an emergency landing at the Thiruvananthapuram airport during a military exercise will be delayed. A fault has been found in the hydraulic system. The plane, which landed in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, was scheduled to refuel and return on Sunday. Another pilot "Freddy" and three technicians arrived in the helicopter from the HMS Prince of Wales ship, while Capt. "Mike" retuned. The British aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales, which was anchored 100 NM away.1750150716903.webp

The British F-35 hasn't left yet. Someone give it a blanket. It's being kept in the open because muricans are afraid we're going to look inside it if it's under a shed.View attachment 40339

Wonder how will this Wunderwaffe react to Al-Gerala's famous monsoon?
Can it's high tech RAM coating withstand being lashed by rain :troll:

Does the pilot sleep right next to it?

Because you never know, he looks the other way and 12 DRDO workers will be scraping it and taking measurements :troll:

They probably have 3 sats looking down at it, at any time. They clearly don't trust us to not look inside, since they are letting it soak in the rain for days now. And it's going to stay that way until Lockheed engineers come and take a look at it.
Wonder if they'll erect a privacy curtain while working on it :bplease:

what if we dont give the lockheed engineers visa???? then we keep this j35 copy made my burgers??

not bad, but 20 tons is tiny for an "XL"UUV. Any plans for larger vessels? DRDO had a 100ton proposal. Boeing orca is in that range, while the cheenis are going to roll out a 450 ton one.
This is an iDEX project given to a startup. So I think this is highly impressive. That said, Boeing XLUUV has a 10 metre long payload section apart from 16 metre length of the vessel with which it weighs around 85 tonnes.

Orca is an armed modular UUV and hence can be attached with the payload bay, Jalkapi isn't.
