Indian Politics and Democracy

To the bewildered youth here who do worship of politicians and make them their idols I just want to suggest that they should read Satyarth Prakash literature and then Bhagwad Gita.

The main objective of Satyarth Prakash is to present the real form of truth and falsehood before humans, so that they can understand their own interests and disadvantages and be happy by accepting the truth and abandoning the untruth.

Garg bharat dfi wala koi dusra Id se aya hai kya. Itna vishuddh wala Oreo namazi chomu wahi tha.

Frankly AryaSamaj and ISCKON are 2 kumbh ke bichde huye bhai, jinke vichaar alag hai but aim ek hai but expectations out of aim achievement are 180 deg opposite.

What Arya Samajists forget is the Vedic sampradaya itself was forced to adapt to the larger world which is the reason they gave in to murti puja. Otherwise where in the Vedas do you find even a hint of it at least in the earliest sections of it ?

This is one issue which even the great Swami Dayanand Saraswati grappled with without any comprehensive success. This was also the reason early on he attracted a lot of Sikh devotees until he turned on Sikhi itself .
The Arya Samajis are trying to go back to basics & in the process undo 3 millennia of evolution.

The ISCKON as its name suggests is a Vaishnava cult determined like other Vaishnava cults to impose itself on all other sampradayas. Check out their interaction with Balinese Hindus. A lot of heat & dust was generated there & if I'm not mistaken they were thrown out.

If this is how it is in a country like the US you can well imagine what's it like in India with massive corruption added to the above mess. Why blame people up north from flocking to appear for such examinations while paying an arm & a leg for coaching classes then ?

Btw this isn't an isolated instance , there are plenty from that channel alone.

in one of my projects for a large Indian conglomerate, when two systems were consolidated, we found workmen who got promoted to white collar were getting paid two salaries for years, since there were two different payroll systems.

these things happen, world is not supposed to be perfect.

And who was penalized for it ? Or was it brushed aside as one of those things or a systemic failure which means everybody's to blame ?

in the world of siloed systems and logics, sometimes in an effort to build efficiencies some aberrations slip thru the cracks without anybody's fault. deliberate acts of dishonesty are a separate issue.

in another case in west asia, a company spent a few millions in $ to add fingerprint access system, only to realise later that workmen's fingerprints gets erased while doing manual labour, which made the whole system redundant.

solution is that, have people in the team who have the ability to think out of box, who can catch anomalies before they happen as much as possible. people like me ;)

Situations happen. What distinguishes the public sector from the private one is that accountability is fixed , the errant penalized whatever form that penalization takes from a red mark on the annual confidential report onwards & the system rectified to prevent repetition otherwise there's public money from the exchequer to bail out the public sector . There's only the IBC for the Pvt sector.

ANI vs Wikipedia in SC
=======
Court reading from Wikipedia page regarding the case "The judge in the case, Navin Chawla, has threatened to order the government of India to shut down Wikipedia in the country"Court; you cannot put the single judge under pressure.

Court: You may be the world's most powerful entity. You may be backed by the world's most powerful power. But we live in a country which is governed by the rule of law.

The court was informed that the person under whose affidavit the appeal was filed is based in US. The bench then said that action will be taken against the advocate on record in case it is not able to reach the person in charge of Wikipedia.

Miya interviewing Miya with both lamenting local authorities neglecting to abide by SC ban on demolitions thus going against Allah SWT & committing blasphemy . How come you ask ? Does anything ever happen without Allah's SWT will ?

Alhamdulillah !

let me expand on this debate about accountability.

everyone wants accountability, how many even know enough about any system to correctly deduce an anomaly or even appreciate ongoing efforts to improve systems.

take the case of sanjeev sanyal. folks who are into govt accountability, how many of them are even aware of what he has been doing, the concept he calls "process reforms". i am sure there are more like him within gormint, but his job profile allows him to talk about it.

when something obvious goes wrong, discourse immediately becomes about accountability. but the same level of enthusiasm is not shown, when efforts are being taken to solve problems. unfortunately these sort of improvements in the system cannot be explained in terms of lowest common denominator, they tend to be dry subjects which won't trigger any harmones except boredom.

on the other hand, climate change is actually a very boring subject, it's timeframes are multifold longer than watching grass grow. yet commies found a way to trigger harmones using climate change as a tropic of discussion, by using crooked methods ofcourse.

this is to say, if accountability is such a important issue, folks who see themselves as being on the positive side of dharma, also need to find ways and means, to get the public enthused about the process and efforts to improve processes as well.

Man shot dead over music during Durga idol immersion in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich

Excerpts

===================================================================

The incident took place when a procession carrying an idol of Goddess Durga for immersion passed through Mahrajganj Bazar in Mansoor village.

Ram Gopal Mishra, a resident of Rehua Mansoor village was shot while walking with the group. He was taken to a hospital but later died during treatment, according to a family member.

However, chief minister Yogi Adityanath directed the administration that idol immersion must continue and to coordinate with religious organisations to ensure it happens on time.

He also directed the police to increase manpower at immersion sites, and police personnel were deployed in the village.

Unrest in Bahraich

Meanwhile, news of Ram Gopal Mishra's death sparked outrage among local villagers, who vandalised vehicles and set them ablaze in Maharajganj market.
