If you travel up north there are no temples older than 250 years . However in TN where you get temples as old as 1500 years old or more you've a bunch of Godless thieves who've ruined the entire ecosystem.
From Muslim invaders to the British to now our own people in charge it seems the fate of Hindu temples is destined for slow atrophy & permanent decline.
Also kashmir had lots of temples ranging between 800 to 1500 years. That's true for remotely located temples in general. There are temples that the older and much older than 250 years, for example in Uttarakhand you have Jageshwar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jageshwar).
Himachal and Uttarakhand have their share of old temples still existing, but due to terrain they are not grand scale as down south. Unfinished 8th century Masrur Temples, Kangra show how temples in north might have looked like (style similar to Angkor wat and Mahabalipuram)Also kashmir had lots of temples ranging between 800 to 1500 years. That's true for remotely located temples in general.
Temples located in the frontiers got absolutely obliterated.
Frontiers being Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, uttar Pradesh, Bihar and to some extent Gujarat.
Every Tom Dick and Harry came in and left the landscape in tatters.

"A Bangladesh type boycott threat may force transparency & reform".
These are the two bit d***** who furthered (?) India's interests while being a diplomat & are supposed to do that after retirement.
A "Bangladesh type boycott" is a call for treason against India & its people.
S*bversives who keep taking about non existent manipulation - straight out of western regime change operation.
Indians should do all that is necessary to squat the threat to our democracy if it come to that.
