Milaudas are well connected if nothing and have their tentacles in top echelons of army, CAPF bosses, political netas etc. These people scratch the backs of fellow corrupt people in thes organizations who will come to their aid if nothing, but blackmail potential they have on them

If an ordinance is brought and passed then that would be it. Although it will be a serious escalation against a judiciary that has (largely) stayed out of the incumbent's business (I cannot even remember the last time a major decision was delivered against this govt) - will have to see how it plays out.

National Herald case explained for those who don't know: -

in 1937 Lehruji created a firm called Associated Journals Ltd, which created the National Herald newspaper in 1938.

Fast forward to 2008 national herald newspaper is discontinued for lack of sales, now keep in mind that the Associated Journals Ltd has alot of prime real estate in places like Delhi and UP, worth something around 2000 crores.

in 2010 Sonia and Rahul create a firm called "Young India ltd" , with a lot of congressi bigshots in the board of directors. Congress gives a "loan" of 90 crores to Associated Journals Ltd claiming to revive the National Herald newspaper.

Now this where the shady stuff begins, Associated Journals basically fails to payback the loan and Congress decides to have Young India Ltd, deal with this. Which in turn pays something like 50 lakhs to acquire the entire Associated Journals ltd and its properties, including all those land i mentioned earlier worth like 2000 crores. The alleged scam here is, there is no solid proof of that 90 crore loan ever being given, plus there is also a case regarding Congress as political party being able to give "loan" to a firm like Associated Journals then, have a firm that they created to be a recovery agent.
