Its good enough if you can apprehend isolated visitors within hours/days of showing up. No, INS hasnt dedicated a Kolkata Class destroyer with its radars going full sweep 50km from NS Island as sentinel to north sentinel island and it isnt about to...for many decades at least.

Short of that, you cannot prevent a person from renting a boat and showing up to north sentinel island because the sea journey from Pt Blair isnt that far. Any 'photphoti' capable of sea travel will get you there in 4-6 hrs max. I know this, because i have family in Pt Blair.
INS relies on boat operators ratting on these foreigners. Which they do with great precision - the entire fundaa is 'take idiot foreigner to NS Island, bring him back, drop him off and go tell coast guard exactly the hotel he is staying at. Coast guard fines u for half ur tourist fee to foreigner, you go home, foreigner goes to jail.
This works more or less by this honour system because from what i know,the boat operators are afraid that if Indian coast guard finds out that you have taken them multiple times without reporting, they will repo your boat and there goes your entire rozi-roti, so generally speaking, they are fairly good at this routine. Or so i am told at least.

One of the reasons Owaisi maamu is indulging in theatrics apart from the obvious playing to his gallery is the fact that being a qualified lawyer he knows that the judiciary is not at all well disposed to the Waqf Act with the higher judiciary making its displeasure known in no uncertain terms in quite a few cases.

Apart from that Owaisi maamu has also indulged in quite a bit of land grabbing in the name of Waqf in the old city of Hyderabad.

Don't be surprised if you see cases popping up from the old city challenging the Waqf acquisitions either directly implicating him & his family or those close to him including such organizations .
