Indian Politics and Democracy

Regarding Bengal, most of what is touted as "bengali culture" was created and thrived during it's status as capital region of British india.

Once it was gone and capital moved to Delhi, bengal entered a downward spiral effect of which is infront of you today. Most industries went with east pakistan.

But this isn't the full picture,most of the bengal's current problem like endemic political violence is sole fault of communists, they started the culture of open political violence and stagnated bengal. Even the whole muh "old bengal asthetic" nonsense, started from them.

When communist were defeated, culture they brought stayed and eventually tmc adopted it.
As much as members here want bjp to be violent, doing so would achieve nothing. Future of bengal is in hands of it's people, who need to accept that their state is becoming a basket case.

If bjp does come to power thier goal should be to in general depoliticise bengali society overall.

I don't want to create any controversy or look down upon bengali people

I have many bengali contacts and like 5yrs ago I heard from many of them... "kya bolein... one sided arranged marriages ho rahe WB mein with M's" those bengali hindus who can run are already leaving enmass...

My father had 3 bengali batchmates from college... daughters of all 3 married to other state hindu boys... with full support of parents.

The fathers-mothers won't say it... par samajh aata hai... they want their daughters future in Hindu culture.

Because I have far and wide contacts in 2 neighboring states of Bengal... mujhe ek trend dikh raha hai for several yrs... They are saving their daughters in this manner(by marrying to hindus of other states)... but they won't say it straight.

Bengali women are also a whole different insanity. Bengali guys try to marry non-bengali women these days.

depoliticisation and mainstreamisation of their societies may happen once they go through 'the last oonga boonga' on street to settle the score once and for all, hopefully
then a long lasting peace until next oonga boonga street fights happens

Yeah , that's true . This is the reason you've a few bongs who're extra aggro out here , a sureshot sign of being hen pecked.

The bongs who're chill usually are either unmarried , not married to a bong &/or have made their peace with being hen pecked , hell ,they may also love being hen pecked or feel incomplete without it .
 
I actually expect BJP to perform worse than last time in the upcoming bengal Elections. Last time was basically the dead cat bounce or the final adrenaline fuelled push by hindus in Bengal.

Simply put post the last election results most of the systematic groups and communities that popped up have been razed to the ground all thanks to BJP and its lack of reponse.

Now I appreciate and I definitely see the positive things and laws that BJP has passed over time for hindus but to me an India post 2014 under BJP draws a lot of parallels to empires throughout history who had these brief spurt of massive growth cultural renaissance and outwards expansion before falling like a house of cards because it still was significantly decaying from the inside. An example of this would be the komnenian restoration of the eastern roman empire.

The hindus from this village/town have been ethnic cleansed with water supplies poisoned, homes and shops looted and then burnt, but not one of the dalal media will use the term "ethnic cleansing".

Foreign media ofc has not covered this at all

Yes, I expect a wipeout this time.
Average bong still will vote for Mamta, greens will vote for mamta, the 20% BJP voter doesn't matter and will be punished after elections.

It's not the fault of Bhajipao that the majority of bongs don't want to vote them in power.

It is their fault that they let party workers, cadre and voters be destroyed by trinamulla goons without consequence just because they lost the election.
 
I have simply come to see the Indian state and its various branches and sub branches as a huge machine with a number of parts constantly humming without any refinements upgrades or tuning.

Now BJP congress and other parties are simply a cog or a part of this machine that simply fits into the existing framework that produces what it is being produced from the past few decades.

Once you understand this perspective you understand why structural changes are pretty much next to impossible in the current Indian structure without damaging the machine which no one wishes to do.

The logic of this x/twitter account is ki mumbai ke ek ghar me chori hui hai and why is my neighbour in tamil nadu not crying and reporting about this.

The govt has been a bit lax w.r.t manipur bengal and that is a fact. Half measures wont solve the wipeout hindus face in certain regions and when they dont care enough no one will.
