UP has a defence corridor and with BrahMos facility it will do great. Jharkhand post Naxal clearance will have foundries and mining. MP has Vehicle Factory Jabalpur (VFJ) as well as Gun Carriage Factory Jabalpur.

Bihar, the less said the better.

bihar me halat itna bhi kharab nahi hai, begusarai is industrially developed, and law and order is good, main issue there is rangdaari, once a pvt company established a packaging plant for east india ops, the manager withing 1 week got dhamki from a bahubalis right hands right hand, that give 1 cr rangdari in a week or else you die, manager declined and did police complain, he got police protection, but after 3 or 4 week he was shot dead while he was returning to his house, this is of 2015, and this is of patna district, rjd destroyed bihar

States need to step up and give them sops. Karnataka for 7 decades is India's Aerospace hub. All suppliers were basically based on Bengaluru.

If you want to move them to say Bihar, Jharkhand you need to give super high sops. Also ITI, Diploma graduates were required which is lacking in these states since bros were serious in taking arts degree and try for UPSC in some dungeon in New Delhi

Andhra Pradesh is already making a move to secure aerospace manufacturing contracts. I won't be surprised if Kannada-chap dehatis force companies to move elsewhere due to their language supremacy.

The proposal is said to be part of Naidu’s broader plan to develop a major defence industrial corridor in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to enhance the state’s contribution to India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.

Reacting to the reports, MB Patil said, “HAL’s wings cannot and should not be moved out of Bengaluru.” While acknowledging Andhra Pradesh’s right to seek new HAL facilities as part of future expansion plans, he described any move to shift existing units from Karnataka as “not just unfair, it’s alarming.”

Politicians should stop talking like roadside goons. This is blatant threat to an company which has every right to decide where it wants to setup the facility. If CBN is ready to provide incentive, manpower then KA should try to figure out how they can do counter bid. North Karnataka is backward and they can give same Sops and ask them to set industries there.

“Foreigners and customers often confused Belgaum with Belgium,” Aravind Melligeri recalled with a laugh. “We had to show them the map and point out exactly where Belagavi was. Then in 2014, when the city was renamed from Belgaum to Belagavi, I had to explain it all over again,” he said in an interview with Moneycontrol.

This confusion mirrored the scepticism Melligeri faced when he and his partners decided to build a world-class aerospace hub far from Karnataka's capital, Bengaluru.

“I approached many aerospace leaders in Bengaluru and said, ‘Come, let's set up here. This zone isn't just for Aequs; it's for everyone to leverage,'” he said. “But the common response was, ‘Who's going to go to Belagavi? It will fail.' Honestly, I couldn't convince a single person from Bengaluru to move here.”

Today, the Aequs Aerospace Park is a crucial part of global aircraft manufacturing. “Every aircraft delivered today has parts made in Belagavi,” Melligeri said.

“We produce 4,500 unique parts every month—both visible and hidden—found on almost every plane.”

Aequs counts Airbus, Boeing, Safran, Collins Aerospace, and several other global giants among its clients.

He added, “When you fly on an Airbus A320, for instance, and see the spinner—the rotating part on the engine—that's made by Aequs. Or when you sit next to the overwing exit or emergency door, you're touching parts from Belagavi. Every time a flight lands, the wheels likely came from here. Twenty years ago, no one would have imagined this.”

With the claim of 4500 "unique" parts my 1st impression was that I have been sleeping on this hidden TASL equivalent. They are 20% of TASL (including the toy and other non aerospace parts) . This is a good surprise .. I will definitely buy into their IPO
