Hitting up to 100 km with guided artillery is crazy . Excalibur we got supposed to have 70km range as per internet . I hope vulcano comes out somewhat cheaper . Some other local guided artillery projects are also going on ..
 
What is it all about.. electric jet engine from a Indian startup backed by Shell . Was reading the article and they claim their engine can power UAV , fighter jets and aeroplanes etc .. Their design has undergone feasibility studies at IISc Bangalore and has been validated by industry experts, confirming its potential to deliver over 90 kN of thrust and a flight range of up to 4,000 km using existing power sources like batteries or fuel cells .

@FalconSlayers you think it's all bullshit 😁 .. yeah I think same . But may be they ll do something as far as UAV is concerned if it's not all fake .

One thing missing over here is the stratospheric surveillance. They were planning something like that with baloons . Not sure about application of dropping of UAV . Drdo has executed a similar project . Stratospheric surveillance got some advantage over the traditional satellites as it can be moved and done in emergency and so on . It's going to be a thing in near future .
