Indian Small Arms and Weapons

Someone needs to reach 'weapon' handling to bollywood goons. This is a blatant case of flagging.

PS: Ignore the dancing idiot civilian in the middle 😁

You are talking about complex things like guns.

I am seeing even simple outdoor shoots were done in green screen lol. Looks cartoonish to see someone like Salman Khan coming with full beard and talking in a monotonous voice with green screen.

Mofos were lazy to do outdoor shoot, expecting this level of shophistication is impossible.

bhaiyon, i have a doubt

i saw a video on small arms and they were talking about ghost guns and 3d printed guns and its parts, can someone tell what they mean?

Looks like they’re playing around with the design and experimenting with an AK style Mag Release too.

Ghost guns:- non traceable, no serial no., very hard to know who made it, or where its made.

For example:- Desi katta.

Yeah, 3d printed gun parts are real, search about it In youtube.

Ghost guns = untraceable weapons (firearms) i.e. without any markings to serial numbers in Indian context desi katta and in international context the illegal firearms (mostly handguns) made in the Philippines. They make some good quality weapons.
3D printed guns = Google FGC 9 it stands for "fuck gun control 9mm".

3D printed guns can also be ghost guns.

oooooo

so basically atmanirbharta in small firearms but unofficially, like munger and meerut??

about 3d printing, isnt it dangerous? the whole cad of a glock is available on the internet, one can 3d print it easily and get some springs, only problem would be the ammunition

For 3D guns in Indian context getting ammo would be problematic and as for constructing them the most difficult part in my opinion will be creating a proper barrel with rifling. FGC talks about electrochemical machining (ECM) for rifling barrels and also gives plans for printing a mandrel for ECM.

It is, that's why there were lots of attempts by Amriki gov. To ban it, they failed, but legally they are highly regulated, and some state level bans did happen.

yeah the SSSD guys are now expanding their AR series with proper prototypes in different configurations, like starting with plain ol' AR15 copy to forking a short stroke gas piston system rifle and now making something like CMMG Mutant here,

as for the 5.56mm NATO vs INSAS goes, i've heard from some peeps that it's not that INSAS ammo can't be used with regular NATO rifles, it's not recommended as it's got more chamber pressure and overall bullet length is slightly longer and it requires 1:6.x some barrel twist (that's on regular INSAS) i.e. a slightly more tighter twist ratio than even regular 1:7 to spin the bullet properly, so on rifles like Tavor it cycles much faster and wears it out sooner - if SSSD guys have taken these all in account to strengthen this build enough for INSAS ammo, then it's gold - and if it can take INSAS pattern nose-in-rock-back chhap magazines ('specially newer pattern ones that's not transparent, provided by FAB chhaps) then it's sone pe suhaagaa

know what i think, it's perhaps time they make a 5.56x30mm MINSAS pattern carbine in AR platform just as proof-of-concept thing, Colt already made a 5.56x30mm MARS carbine PDW thing in past

Viv mentioned that the INSAS spec Ammo causes accelerated barrel wear and damage to the firearms that aren’t specifically designed for it. I’ll actually ask him about the improved INSAS Magazine.
