As for ballistics the first thing that we need to consider is that there's no data about the 5.56x30mm cartridge. So the best I can do is substitute that with more common, FN's 5.7x28mm with a 2g bullet
PS90 (16") - 790m/s - 2.5kJ
P90 (10.4") - 715m/s - 2kJ
FN57 (4.8") - 640m/s - 1.6kJ

So by my roughest possible estimation (per inch decrease of 13.3m/s) when you'll shorten the current 12" barrel of JVPC to something like MP7's 7" then the decrease in ballistics shouldn't be very far away from 65m/s and 40J.

Do you know JVPC is perhaps THE ONLY PDW in the world that's designed to mount a bayonet? Yup, the same bayonet that's asked in every RFI from machine gun to sniperso once the barrel is shortened you lose the ability to use bayonet resulting in it getting disqualified
