Any reason they are going with 7.62x39mm round. Since it is not an preferred round for an Urban CQB oriented force.
Lets see whether SSS have the chance of not.
Is it bc you're a fan of CZ or do you have a logical reasoning as to why it's the best choice!cz bren in 7.62x 39 is best choice
I am not cz fanboy its actually my first time rooting for themIs it bc you're a fan of CZ or do you have a logical reasoning as to why it's the best choice!
SSS's P72 series is also available in Carbine (7.62x39 & 5.56 x 45), DMR and RECR (7.62 x 39 & 7.62 x 51 NATO)I am not cz fanboy its actually my first time rooting for them
Same family of assault rifle with different caliber will full fill every need and will keep training simple
Cz bren comes in 5.56 nato( for sf) , 7.62x 39 (for infantry)and 7.52x 51 for dmr (something similar could have been for army instead we have a mess )
We have something similar with ugram series but anyways
Compareing rest of option to cz bren rest of the option looks like ak103m at best
I love sss defence but it just seems AK with better furniture still i am happy for them and hope it gets selected
I dont know someone posted about cz bren that it had good reviews within indian forces
I know still p 72 needs more work it looks like AK 103mSSS's P72 series is also available in Carbine (7.62x39 & 5.56 x 45), DMR and RECR (7.62 x 39 & 7.62 x 51 NATO)
Being in us everyone would consider AR over AK due to costBeing in the US and having the access to small arms, I'd opt for an AR over AK anyday
I wish NSG considers M72 instead

I believe this thread focuses on small arms produced by Indian firms and procurements specific to Indian military, paramilitary and police forces while the other is about small arms news from other countriesThere is another thread under the name Small arms and weapons in glabal military.@admins pls merge both pages. Two pages on same subject is unnecessary
The BREN in 7.62x39 was literally made as per Indian requirements. They went through the trouble of testing it with OFB ammo. And we ignored the gun. Picking AK-203 over BREN 2 is something I'll never live down. It's a whole gen ahead. Is it bc you're a fan of CZ or do you have a logical reasoning as to why it's the best choice!
