Indian Special Forces

This seems like a misfit are you sure it's px4s? I have seen other pics with decent suppressors on them(it's the only thing Paras use for them)
Yeah, from Sainik Samaroh Lucknow weapons demo by 5 para ig

Sirf display keliye hai ya use bhi kar te hai
For those who've never held a firearm or any tactical equipment in their life, something that I realized when I first attended my basic handgun class and subsequently bought a handgun (Sig P365), using it with the stock sights or whatever the firearm comes with is a lot easier for civilian circumstances since I personally felt super uncomfortable when I slapped an optic on it. People will have to realize there is significant learning curve and takes quite a bit of practice when you switch from iron sights or the bare firearm to a holographic or red dot

I still don't use an optic on my Sig since I personally don't feel the need to and the few times I had a chance to get my hands on an AR, my accuracy was kinda the same with or without an optic as I never attended an AR class nor had range time or anyone to train me on it

While sights are essential in this day and age, particularly night encounters requiring NVGs/thermals, I doubt our men will get enough range time and training to really get familiarized with these optics, be it gun or helmet mounted sights. It's the same with PCs' too (compared to light weight ballistic vests) since I never knew how heavy the plates can get until I tried one on at a gun show and if a soldier (regular or SOF) isn't fully acclimated, they might actually prefer going into encounters without these at times which is why bashing top brass about procurements isn't simply enough since it's more about training and familiarization to these new setups.

I have always repeated my stance that giving top notch equipment with no extensive training and time to form their SOP it's of no use
So it takes years to develop proper night fighting capabilities

But incase of garuds we have been seeing that same piece since 2022
What sort of familiarisation takes 2 years for such a small force
