Bhaiyo, is it just me or does someone else also feel the shirts should be tucked in for our new uniforms. Frankly, i don't know why but this gives me the vibe of some african milita, not that of supposedly "one of the best military force in the world"

For a normal soldier comfort should be a bigger priority. For eg. A soldier can suffer through the heat while in a tank in the thar desert but providing them with AC is going to make them suffer less and keep their moral and preform better.

Heat adds up to fatigue which leads to loss of concentration which leads to lack of situational awareness.
