Indian Special Forces

Fuck this modern world.

Operators risk their lives every fucking day. Regardless of their country. They do operations that in territory the average person can’t even breathe in.

For them to be forced to spout a banner of some cheap hwore pop artist in a helmet is a fucking disgrace and dishonor to every single person in that picture.

On that pic i was about to say - Most Indians are devoid of humour and the banners would be lost on most.

I would only say this , with the present attitude.
We are sitting on a tickling time bomb that will consume all of of us lest a war breaks out . The one making the decisions and their kids (most of whom are settled abroad) will get away , the poor conscripts will get butchered in a meat grinder worse than Ukraine.

Don't wanna get myself in legal trouble pointing out the obvious, I am done with this shit .

No negativity against Armed forces will be allowed.

Stick to the topic.
Who has been spreading negativity against Armed forces here ? Negativity of what sort ? Criticising them for their tactics, equipment, etc ? That is as far as I am concerned...sticking to the topic. I for one, cite all my things out here.

There are people who call out Maj Sahani for him not being like the jung-ho persona of an officer they have in their mind. The same people would have called Lt Gen PC Katoch out as well, whom I get to cite the most. Why don't they ? Because he's senior, doesnt come in too many podcasts and these haters are lazy ass buggers who dont want to pick up a book and read.

So, sticking to the topic means discussing the situation, usmei if the system is fucked, we criticize it. The reality is that it pings people like hellfire so much that their jai ho types are being criticised, so instead of attacking the logic they'll say "The use of demeaning language is not acceptable" You know what....okay from here on all I'll do is cite sources, present the facts as such and leave my own emotion out of it. Guess what ? Even then you guys will get butt hurt.

Honestly we are rr over the loss of men due to poor equipments and obsolete strategies. Within last two years we are loosing soldiers in a ambushes due to usage of unarmoured vehicles like stallion. We don't have an Mmg, hmg to fend off concentrated firing from militants. We did not deploy them even today where we lost few soldiers last week. Suddenly came an poor PR of aslv few months but last week it confirms it is to assuage people.

Secondly a lot of equipments were not even getting purchased by the army and it ends up geting orders from foreign countries. Obviously people started to question the procurement policy itself since for army there is always an ifs and but for an indigenous product, but boom for foreign products.

The fact Indian companies started to invest more in global markets than in India due to too much confusing signals from armed forces is a worry.

That IAF - Uber is basically the final nail. We don't even know whether Uber will save the data in India data centers

Y
John McPhee was easily the Iftikar Bhat of US Spec Ops, dude did solo missions disguised as an Afghan, what a guy, I love the way he talks....no crap.
Yep, really solid dude. I remember a quote from him, it's just one of those quotes that is so simple yet changes your life.

He says "I know I'm supposed to die, then why should I make my day miserable". Just complete the objective.

One badass dude.

absolutely this, but seems like over the past few years, the millitary is more concerned about it's public image as appeals to the masses than actual warfighting capability

Avoid giving real-time information on operations, deployments, Soldier IDs and their family information.

Avoid if possible (not enforced) preempting the next possible overt or covert action until not disclosed by media, government agencies and open sources.

Qualified Criticism based on facts and academic arguments is most welcome.

No personal jibes.

Okay but what constitutes negativity?
Would criticism of our Armed Forces be treated as negativity? Considering the state of the majority of the Indian Armed Forces, the criticism won't be positive in most cases.

I think people should stop comparing a third world country (India) to a First Workd superpower (USA). That’s the only thing i’d change.
