Most people here belong to very well backgrounds and dont have to come here to gain any kind of sadistic pleasures which some people are insecure about.

In any organisation or system the people who raise voices or whistle blow are the only ones who are working for the system.

None of the guys here who criticise have degraded to the level of so called supporters who call people like Major Sahini names including your own Admins.

Most of you who have settled abroad and are Admins here dont even pay 1% of tax we pay and then tell us from your Phooran Country to shut the fuck up.

Bcoz your immigrant ass is protected by Gora SF with all the gadgets while we will have to rely on NSG to rescue us God forbid there is another 26/11.

And by the way how many of you taking offense have ever been to a matyred soldiers house?

We are bad coz we talk about better equipment for who…for me?

Or for my company like Olive planet which i dont own?

Its for the soldiers welfare.

I have no cure for the people who take offense if XYZ organisation is criticised because their relatives are there or they are generally psychopaths.

Please stop using this First world and Third world analogy to somehow hint at India's lower status in terms of economy and international relations.
These phrases "First World" and "Third World" were never meant to be associated with economic prosperity. And I for one refuse to accept that India is somehow less powerful or Indians are less fortunate on the world stage cause we're a "Third World" country.
In the context of Armed Forces, India is very well a force to be reckoned with. And we can be even stronger, better equipped, more technology driven (God knows we have the intellectual faculties for that in this nation) but the problem is the lack of intent or even naivety to some extent from the paper pushers.

Chill out brother. I've come to realize that some people are just naive and don't wanna accept facts and figures. While others somehow have managed to blur the lines between national pride and their own ego.

This is true and all but the reality is that USA has 100 times the military resources india has. In the Gulf war of 91 their satelite capabilities are what destroyed the Iraqi army in 3 days. India simply doesn’t have the capabilities to do so. We need to be more realistic in our comparisons as the USA are generations ahead of india in all special forces, organization, and equipment

On X there are many uninformed retards who are civilians claiming they know what is what for the armed forces.

On the other hand you have the well informed members on this thread and forum who are calling for better gear and equipment while giving constructive criticism.

I completely agree that the USA is generations ahead of us. But I still don't think the "Third World" moniker makes sense or is a viable excuse for the state of affairs in the Indian Armed Forces. Other so-called third-world nations have done way better in keeping up with the times, and they did so with fewer resources than India has.
It just boils down to the efficiency of using these resources and where our priorities lie. And their priorities are skewed if the Army tests out jet packs and robot dogs while frontline soldiers are still equipped like they were during Kargil.
Another massive reason for this reluctance is the fact that the Indian Armed Forces rarely get involved in military unrest around the world. The USA not only has the resources but has also learned how to use them properly in real-time war scenarios. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine. All of these military campaigns have shaped and refined the American military doctrine. India on the other hand is satisfied with kicking the ass of a military dictatorship on the brink of economic collapse. No wonder we aren't keeping up with the times. We're still basking in past glories and that has blinded us to the point that we're unable to fathom the future of warfare.

Israel was literally able to kick the shit out of a country 1000 km away and made it so scared of attacking Israel again and cause casualties. That was with US help and technological prowess.

Indian strategic assets would be made mincemeat in hours in a conflict against US. Indian Navy would be sunken in matter of hours and Indian Air force wiped out or rendered ineffective in a week or so. It could never directly challenge USAF even over Indian skies. USAF elint capabilities are simply too overwhelming even in an expeditionary role. India is literally behind US like about 34 years. India hasn't even caught up to the 1991 Gulf War prowess level.

The country that is closest to US warfare technological capabilities is Israel, then Japan, and then maybe UK. France is behind UK.
