Bro maybe you missed the news but Indian Army high iq deptt has decided to use 4 Negevs in a anti drone gun setup.

Maybe thatswhy they need other guns.

yep ,
ballistic calculators can be developed in house in a few months , though testing them will depend upon army .

Also a range in arawali will go hard , this place offers everything from mirage effect (due to high temp) to all shooting scenarios .

I have used something of the same concept of a ballistic computers and its just a complex calculator…A IT and manufacturing hub like India can easily develop one.

Yes a standard model(12gauge) holds 5. (+1 in the chamber if you quick reload). Other models had a larger mag tube.
IOF models(12gauge) were standardised to 4+1

We also makes PKMs meant to be mounted in Tanks too. it too needs just a modern furniture and minor changes too.
Btw my take on the buying of Colt LMG

Good to be trying new things but these sorts of amateur looking setups always makes me wonder how proficient they actually are with it. Wire management etc are basic stuff that gets squared away quickly if you practice how you fight and practice hard
