I am yet to see a guy carrying any such badge or any mention in any video where they say anything about a dedicated Breacher who knows everything to do about breaching.

I'll make it easier, compare this purpose built SoF offroader with big tires and kitted suspension with the hood open force jeep PARA uses.

Sir, I apologise for the rant against army, I was well, frustrated or edgy as they say nowadays.
I know that para sf is principally there for operations , deep in enemy territory .
Like the surgical strike in 2016, also what PARA SF needs to learn, para sf know it better , far better than most of the members in civillian world , thus I won't dare to remark on the tactics of our army .
Still , why can't the army equip every soldier, except artillery probably with NVGs ?
Para , RR , Ghatak or simply a soldier from the infantry regiments like Rajrif , Jakli etc .
In Iraq Americans wiped the floor with Iraqis , because they could fight at night too .
Iraqi tanks nor their men not even the famed republican guard divisions like Medina munnawara etc had NVGs .
This was in the kuwait war in 90s , when iraq was still strong!
Indian army stopping an operation, due to nightfall, literally feels like 80s.
I don't know how NVGs work, probably they wouldn't work in the heavily forested environment of Kashmir at night .
Still , what if they do work ?

Bro,

NVGs is good for getting from Point A to Point B.

What Indian Army needs for such forested areas is Thermals.

Nowadays,you can pair and NVG and Thermal together and get the best of both worlds.

With NVGs in a forested area the detection can be as late as few metres away…Bring a Thermal in the picture the distance increases 10 folds.

The excuses that Indian Army gives makes you feel they have no idea about Night Warfare..They might be best runners and climbers no doubt..but here they are not the best.

Yes, looks like in last 30 years REAL DEHAT has seeped into the army and in turn SF too, thanks to unabated nepotism and favouritism.

The lads were originally dehat only, but this time the officer class also seems to not be interested.

The gist of it is they see the boys as just meat to throw into the grinder, so they don't bother with tactics, training, equipment etc.

The lower rank of officer class is also impacted because they fight alongside the boys and lead them.

Very sad mindset and we will have to pay the price as a nation in the future.
