I saw a tweet, screenshotted it and asked a question (legitimate in my opinion) how so many officers have children studying in elite western institutions. I blacked out all faces, and the handle. The only thing I left intact was the ‘HARVARD’ sweatshirt.

I deleted the tweet after I was asked to by someone in a DM

I didn’t target any individuals nor identify anyone

You should know that going abroad is no big deal, at all, even at Govt. salaries.. moreover the kid could have gotten scholarships.

From the culture I come from, we look at things from a positive lens, & seeing a kid do well in life would reflect on their hard work, for me at least.. irrespective of the kid's father station in life currently.

Any negative insinuations regarding "how so many officers have children studying in elite western institutions", are uncalled for, & just shows you in poor light, not that kid or their father.

Same thing happened to me. I tweeted about that former DG artillery Lt General Pani Puri Shankar talking about how bridges in the Northeast cannot withstand more than 15 tonnes towed guns and I simply asked isn’t it possible for army to improve its logistics by strengthening bridges or making new ones. Most of those bridges are from British era. Then that entire gang came after me to troll.

Just see how you are addressing a senior officer, whose efforts to modernize the arty are now bearing fruit.

I have engaged with Gen. Shankar on his YT channel, dis-agreed with him, and he has been kind enough to give polite responses.

There’s no daughter to go to court

I have never shared anything that has not already been posted by someone, I accounted for what happened above- I’d like to know what the offence would be in posting a screenshot of a publicly available X post where I have blacked out all faces, all background imagery and the original handle (and my post was also deleted within 12 hours anyway)

If this is really what caused this then these people are more fragile than I thought

X doesn’t reveal your IP directly, but a skilled attacker can combine technical data.....like your IP.......with public information (geotagged posts, work history) to track your physical location. Phishing links are the fastest route.........click once, and they’ve got your IP. While piecing together clues from your posts takes effort, it’s not impossible. That’s how those idiots got in.


Always route your traffic through a trusted VPN—it masks your real IP. That’s what I always do.

the 301 got its posting primarily because of their Location and proximity to SF units. Was there a selection? Is there a specialised training for SOF operations that other Rotary Aviation units dont go through? Are they helos equiped better for EW/ELINT/Night Fighting? Do their Helos have Inflight Refueling for XL Range? Do they integral Armed Escorts? Does the unit have a Diversified Asset Pool ? (Long Range, Short Haul, Recce platforms?

again this is the problem with boot polish brigade of Pahadi Chuha. They wont see the actual issue being discussed but feel offended at language. Why? Just because he’s a 3 star doesn’t mean one has to respect him blindly.

But i dont think thats the way they did it.

Abingdon had a very easy to guess social media signature.

Some members here also who are very famous on X have a similar social media visibility.

Once you get the name you can get whatever info u want from the net provided that guy has made it like that.

Had they been hacking stuff they wont be asking Abingdons friends about his whereabouts.

We have just overhyped the attack.
