Indian Special Forces

The guy wearing multicam gloves seem to be wearing a nice chest rig.
Do you see LBVs used extensively except for maybe recon?

Marcos exists and look at them. Para has no excuse to be like this.
Agree with LBV having bad ergonomics. Para SF operates for days outside their temporary bases unless they are hastily air dropped into a search and destroy operation. The best thing for that purpose is a heavy bag, slick pc and a split chest rig(they have that, but the quality of that stuff isn't top tier).

I get your point but marcos don't usually operates way off their base in bandipora, they don't have a great track record whenever they go for such prolonged ops.

Oh no I only compared marcos in equipment. I agree they should stick to what they're meant to do anyways.

I'd say a smersh with a ferro slickster would be absolutely gorgeous.

Armasen SF rig with Razor back should be their new option

Something like dz rig with slick plate carrier would also be better

This could work as not only for kashmir but for every other terrain and mission as well with minor adjustment

I doubt indian company are working on something like this indian company should work on this load bearing belt system lot of other modern system are also avalible

Any of the SFs having SG 553? Heard NSG had them but what quantity

And which Para units have standardized AT rigs [like minimum 50% of the unit]?

Its just too confusing, we have to make a list or something about what unit is going after what brand - Olive planet, cliff climbers ....

Special Forces have Indian MIC products at doorstep. Unfortunately lack of focus on real SF capability is hurting us.

1. Armor - Armasen, SMPP, MKU etc.
2. Guns - Adani PLR, SSS, BF (ARDE Carbine), Dvipa Defence (ARDE UGRAM), Astr.
3. NVG, Thermal Scope - Tonbo, TASL, MKU
4. SDR Radio - Tejas Network (TATA).
5. Armored Vehicles - Mahindra ASLV, Kalyani M4

Even an Dedicated SF Aerial branch can be equipped.
1. Troop Transport - MI-17 V5, Rudra, Dhruv (Future IMRH)
2. Larger Troop Transport - Chinnok (Buy it from Daddy Trump)

ISR Platform
1. TAPAS
2. Archer NG

Armchair general wishlist.

Millitant chest rig is different from smersh or dz rig thease are webbing i am sure someone have discussed about them here

Generally with webbing or something like dz rig /smersh/plce all are from cold war but still used still much more practical thease were created to be modular and so that soldier can carry sustained ration ammo and other things for more than 24 hours basically what para need they will also go great with infantry
They have generally
4 magzine pouch each carry 2 magzine
And three big pouch for other shit

This was copied from the older forum related to Gear and fund management for SF, Members back then used to put out nice dreamy posts like these which I liked as a newbie, I still do:daru:
it was written by someone I don't remember but take a look. —

expand...Overestimating the amount by a huge margin brother .
Lemme show it Rs , it's Easier calculation for us Indians .
An Average airsoft plate carrier cost "starts" the range of Rs.3000 or 4000 in India with built in 3 primary arms ammunition pouches or more .
The most expensive in India is Armasen with approx 8000Rs
The battle belts are not necessarily so expensive. Olive planet sells 2 one for 500 another 1500 . Armasen sells their Wasp at 5000
I think tactical apparel could be the cheapest in India . You have Paracom Spec Ops , Indian Sports gear , Tactical Gears India , Tactical Experts Tac Ops , Military Equipment pvt Ltd , Gear smith , and the most famed yet the most underrated , Mount Miller , which is probably Indias first brand to clone Crye style knee pads in their pants .
And the fun fact is you can get the whole set for an approx Rs4000- Rs7000 .
Gloves can purchased through a lot of 3rd party stores Delta Tech India , Ubuy India , Olive planet , Militiazone. Even M-pact clone.
For shoes you can purchase from a lot of stores . Get themselves Mikaasa or Magnum or even Salomon Quests and AKU selvatica ( Para SF and Marcos) respectively. Well it's starts from the range of 4000-23,000 INR .
Minor things such as extra pouches or spare clothes etc can be included in this .

Also we can purchase Howard Leights roughly costing around 10000 INR . Include a radio if you wanna . The Peltors , Ops cores ,Sordins and Liberators cost more than a fortune so why procure those extravagant things if we are not accustomed to the basic Handsfree headset . Practice first with that and then we'll see .
Also I'll take on an MKU or SMPP or even TASL helmet anyday over the exorbitant Ops core or Team Wendy's. You can get the same protection with Hard Headed Veterans at 500 dollar helmet .

We can get almost every frontline soldier equipped with Global SOF standards or even current USMC standards , which is dam high , but we choose to play dumb
