No. But, it's become too much of the same shit with blackpilling . Excessive pessimism. I agree, our guys don't have the best gears , and sometimes they make comical mistakes while setting up their gears. But, it's too much repetitive now a days.
If you ask me, this excessive pessimism is because of an individual's state of mind. No offense to anyone.
Kindly, do not reply, these debates have been done a thousand times and it's nauseating now.
then you have missed reading the OG DFI's OG Indian Special Forces thread, it was so blackpilled that the mod shifted discussions to a new thread

You see, once upon a time, joining the Para SF was about pain, anonymity, and sacrifice. Today? It’s about cool nicknames, beard oil, and uploading selfies with Tavor to your burner Instagram account.

And yet, who am I to judge? Maybe it does build morale. Maybe calling yourself “Devil Hunter” helps when you’re five days into a cold insertion. But at some point, someone’s got to ask: Are we building warriors or influencers with guns?

The things you expect are done by units in silence which are 10% of Para SF.

“I have come to take the class of 9 Para SF-Ghost Operators hahaha”~Major Sapru on Monks and warrior podcast

When I first came across MACVSOG it was not really a cool and striking name , but it was after reading about their ops that it became the coolest thing .

What i mean to say is , cool names don't matter..... op history does .

Like 9 and 1 .

But cool phooshoot do matter quite a bit .

Agreed

What I’m saying is: these newly converted units, with no real special forces legacy, are basking in glory. Just look at the LARPer situation we’re dealing with.

How do i say it very politely and humbly….

Look the situation is that our SF is poor, ignorant and uninterested in all these gadgets.

This “showshey” baazi helps in the feeling of invincibility to get the job done.

Let them feel good in their own world…Wars are won by bigger things than SF.

SF is just a small tactical part of foreign policy which we anyway dont use.

Honestly,as far as i am concerned i would worry about drone procurement more than Parachute battalions.

Op Sindoor has completely changed my opinion of SF and its importance.

I guess, every SF force will have a hard time against drones , all over the world.
What is your opinion?

Eventually fine soldiering will die.

Robots or Robots controlled by humans will stand ground and be foot soldiers.

Gamers type youngsters with very fine hand eye coordination will be at controls.
