Yeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh, won't help for shit. Sure, hostage situations will be handled WAY better but I'm sure that the Army's ego is way too big to call in NSG and then have them take the credit for the op. Army RR is almost always the first one on the scene and at the remotest sign of complications, it's gonna be Para SF who rolls up to the scene first.

They'll be a part of large ops too. They won't be the primary hunter force but will be a part of the QRT with SOG teams just like RR and Para (marcos, Garud and SG) happens in valley. They'll get their vehicles and stuff too

Oh yeah, same 'clowns' who curbed militancy in NE even before getting converted into SF...

1st of all, it wasn't only kumaon regiment who fought in NE. And role Intelligence agencies played was key in reducing militancy there.

2nd don't compare an infantry regiment with special forces regiment. The quality, skills, training needed for special forces soldiers are very different from infantry soldiers.
Casuality rate of kumaon regiment from their fighting in NE over decades wes more than the total strength of parachute regiment.

I was talking about the quality, skills which they displayed at vajra prahar 2018 (which western SF guys still uses to troll indian SF on social media). Most of the soldiers who participated in vajra prahar doesn't even know how to hold a pistol. During room intervention, one US soldier pushed indian soldiers for blocking the entry,..!!! Which was very basic thing and para soldier done it wrong.
No one can justify 3 para SF's incompetence by saying they had a history of so called "curbing militancy in NE" which btw is still an ongoing issue. We cannot blame the western SF guys for those 3 para sf's lack of skills either as they(western SF) have experience of training and interacting with dozens of professional special forces around the world.

Dont go with any attitude about bisleri boys or anything just have a right attitude and learn everything you can.

Dont think of yourself as tees mar khan.

Make a note of various things you learn and equipments you need.

Come back and make a presentation and give it to higher ups.

I dont know till what level we can learn coz some of our basics are wrong too.

We should be looking to hire a instructor.
