Never knew that Col Bakshi brokered the ceasefire resumption between GoI & NSCN(I)

Also touches upon the middlemen in the MoD/political class and what happens when you question it.

Truly an unsung hero.

P.S. People in TSD ran ops which could only accomodate sena medal and CoAS commendations - to avoid writing details in citations.

Even after years of thankless service and daring ops, unit was disbanded, their families were hounded, some of the men got divorced, got their service cut short, etc.

Had Col Bakshi been serving in Jammu, I betvwe could have avoided the string of int failures of 2023-24.

The most difficult thing to do in this nation is to be a man with a spine.

Y'all must have gotten a flavour of it by raising questions over procurement on Twitter. The ISI bot labels and stuff - it's the very same thing.

The establishment didn't spare well respected and loved Brig Devinder Singh who essentially won the war in baltik sector . Meanwhile Bakshi sir dared to stand up against the whole lobby .
