Indo-China Border & LAC

All the statements originating from Bhutan were hinting that Doklam was irrelevant and Bhutan was ready to let go of the territorial claim if China was ready to sweeten the deal.

rubbish , doklam is not part of the talks . its off the table and they did purely for India.

entire china-bhutan border talks are aimed to fucking india and they still managed to keep doklam out of it.

this is what china has done in bhutan , its large areas of northern bhutan . there is no so called "gifting' , reality is they can do nothing against china .even with indian help .

Why did Doklam not figure in the talks despite the Chinese aggression? Why did Bhutan "allow" China to cross over into it's territory ignoring the Indian concerns?

Bhutan let go of the territorial claims in Doklam. It tried to trade Doklam to earn a "peaceful settlement of the border disputes up North". That too after the Indian military had successfully defended Doklam.

Bhutan played a silly game, won the stupid prize.

are yaar , why did india allow china to cross LAC at galwan/pangong tso/depsang

why did india go for "peaceful settlement of the border" with china for the past 3 decades

answer is geography + money + political will . china uses all 3 .

ur correct in one thing , they are unreliable , slowly moving away from indian influence . bhutanese strategy is to keep china and india both happy .

they already blocked a major indian road construction close to indian border . road could have given us faster access to tawang. vital in war time . they did it because of the bhutan-china border talks

they r gonna put out a pr photo of the army chief standing in front of a white board . one of the officers pointing at it with a stick .
No so apparently this will be full offensive exercise by the Strike Corps in Ladakh Sector

After Galwan, Srilanka, Maldives and now BD, no neighbor will throw their lot behind Bharat and for good reason!

That assumption is far away from the reality. Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal are back into the Indian fold. It required a little patience, but it worked out in the end.

As far as the Bangladeshi Hindus are concerned, they are reaping the full harvest. They thought that the leftist ideology is cool. They were the torchbearers of the "Indian Out campaign". Close the border, let them enjoy the consequences. 🤣

Be assured, once the dust settles, Mohammad Yunus will be regretting his decision of becoming a face of the interim government. He is the cat's paw (Military did not want to deal with the mess), his head will be on the chopping block in the end.

Myanmar needs to be sorted out before BD. It is the most critical component of our Look-East policy.

Well said brother, Namo and AS 100% deserve blame in WB and Manipur for deliberate no action to protect hindus in our own country.

BD is a different matter, it was the hindus fate there but I hope anyone in that state realize the inevitable odds against them and take the fight to enemy and send them to their 72s and die with courage but not beg for mercy as 72s are scum and animals. Death is inevitable but how you get there sometime matters and leaves a legacy for others to follow. Woman also should fight with whatever means and take few along with them.

Foolish rulers of China has brought American Military power and buildup of Indian power to their disadvantage.

With buildup of Indian Army both in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh, the Chinese power has been put on a hold. Their propaganda has vanished as India has a mighty Army at LAC as well a mighty airforce waiting to give them a bloody nose. A big part in this has been the massive improvement in infrastructure and road/tunnel construction.

Chinese know all that. They cannot transfer all their larger part of the army from the China Sea front as it is urgently needed to face Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam and U.S.. Hence, they are stuck and can do nothing more than propaganda which poorly knowledgeable boys and girls in India pick up from Chinese websites.

The truth is that, much of hastily built military hardware which the Chinese army, airforce and navy has is second rate built on copied and reverse engineered material. That permits them to boast or indulge in salami slicing which they practiced in Ladakh and now in China Sea opposite Philippines. Nothing more they can do.

Realizing that friendship hand the Chinese extended to America from 1985 till 2015 is a mirage. Now the Americans have returned in a big way to Philippines, Taiwan and Japan. Four of their previously disused military bases in the area are being reconditioned. Even fully armed F-22 has returned to the area. A new command headquarter to deal with Chinese has been established in Japan. QUAD is in the works. America has decided that no matter how much pressure Chinese exert in the area, they the Americans will keep the sea lanes for world trade in China Sea open.

That is all good news for India. Now the Chinese would be kept busy in China Sea for a very long time. With additional military buildup planned by India at LAC and no more expected from China, there won’t be any more Doklam or slime slicing at LAC.

If you watching the China - India news then you will notice a distinct change in diplomatic talks. Chinese are smiling more and shaking hands more. Although they do not wish to acknowledge but US pressure from Pacific and Indian pressure from LAC has knocked some big sense into their head.

What was the territory gained in 1971 ? Bangladesh is an independent country.
  • Indian forces captured around 15,010 km2 (5,795 sq mi) of land in the West but returned it in the 1972 Simla Agreement as a gesture of goodwill.
  • India retained 883 km2 (341.1 sq mi) of the gained territory in Jammu and Kashmir while Pakistan retained 53 km2 (20.4 sq mi) territory
