3 youth dead, 2 more missing. There could be something very sinister going on, or planned. Attack young Hindu males, with the long term idea of reducing their numbers and/ or forcing them out of the area. Thereby increasing the Islamic influence in the region. Kathua is a Hindu majority area, the Islamists and their Pakistani backers aren't happy with that, they want to eventually convert it to a Moslem majority.

Precisely my point! The CO needs to call Delhi's bluff about free hand, i.e. whack the Pakis and dare the govt to question his decisions. Hit some HVTs like a brigade HQ or some Pindi hotshot corner site guys. See if raksha mantri, pradhan sevak et al have the testicular fortitude to raise the insubordination bogey!!
