Sometimes you have to show your fangs. Leader ji's frandship drama even though with good intent didn't led to anything because US and trumpva saw it as our weakness. Even th superpower US isn't getting away without any consequences if they want to screw us up. Let's be honest they can't sanction us without facing issues at home..Service sector is still two way street.
Bending se kya mila Bhai abtak? We should keep it purely transactional. I'm not saying we should antagonise America. But showing a bit fang is not a bad thing. Even Japan does it for diplomatic matters sometimes. Overtly bending to Trump gave jacksh*t in last few months. They are superior power nothing to deny there. But doesn't mean we should go above and beyond to show them our asses to pummel their banana into it just to get that sweet sweet dollar just like Al-Bakistan. There should be some dignity we should maintain. Trade deal for example we can't just give everything on platter to US. They even want open access to our dairy, agriculture, etc. There are certain things where we can't bent because of various reasons including domestic politics. If India bents to US demands and tomorrow ends MSP do you think farmers would stay calm? Obviously not. We have not bent to US demands in WTO for many years precisely because how it gonna mess up the situation in our domestic politics.
