Valley is Sunni majority but the posters on the streets wherever you may find them are all replete with pro-Iran Shia iconography in Budgam and all around Srinagar. Expect it only go up this coming week.

Rule #1 of intercine Islamic power blocks : Shia-Sunni doesnt matter vs Kufr or Ahl-Al-Kitub, as long as you are not directly involved IN a Shia-Sunni conflict yourself.
