It hasn't been verified yet, but if you ask for a personal opinion, having worked on Russian equipment(generators and hydraulic presses), I have no confidence in anything made in Russia, especially critical electronics.

If they were found to be using motherboards from washing machines,cameras from sony DSLR and engines from dinky boats in their drones,i wonder what they have put in their missile defense system.

The drone in question is not a kamikaze drone but a reconnaissance drone that entered production in 2011.

And this is not the first time that Russia was caught using commercial ebay/Amazon-purchased items. Actually,Russia is quite well known for long in Western circles for using parts from home appliances in their military equipment.

A lot of things floating around on the internet, especially Twitter are simply fugazi but when it comes to trusting Russian technology and capability vs Israeli tech and capability,i will always choose the latter. Beyond the military,Russian tech is not even a match to India. I have seen their vehicles, and the closest Indian thing to their build quality and performance is the Padmini Premier which stopped production 20-30 years ago.

Your iphone 10 or your smart-fridge from LG has a superior chipset than F-22 does. Home appliances are actually more cutting edge of electronics than military hardware that has been around for 20 years.
