Israel x Iran Conflict (68 Viewers)

No one is right or wrong or proper in getting it, if they want it get it by hook or by crook. Countries like UK got it for nothing from USA without any restrictions or BS international law crap.
I disagree. Quite a few British scientists worked on Project Manhattan. After WW2 the US decided to deny Britain access to the data it had helped generate. Britain had to develop its fission weapon on its own.

  • The MAUD Committee, established in 1940, investigated the possibility of using nuclear fission for a bomb. The committee's report, which included findings from scientists like Otto Frisch and Rudolf Peierls, concluded it was indeed feasible. This led to the Tube Alloys program to develop the technology.

  • Collaboration with the US (1943-1946):
The UK initially held a lead in atomic bomb research, but after the US entered the war, the two countries agreed to collaborate on the Manhattan Project, with Britain playing a supporting role. The 1946 US Atomic Energy Act (McMahon Act) ended this cooperation, restricting the sharing of nuclear information.

  • Independent Program (1947 onwards):
In 1947, the British government decided to pursue an independent nuclear weapons program.

  • First Atomic Test (1952):
The UK successfully tested its first atomic bomb, codenamed "Hurricane," on October 3, 1952, at the Montebello Islands in Australia. This test made Britain the third nuclear power.

  • Thermonuclear Weapon Development:
Following the US and Soviet development of the hydrogen bomb (much more powerful than the atomic bomb), the UK committed to developing its own thermonuclear weapon in 1954.

  • Operation Grapple (1957-1958):
A series of tests, codenamed Operation Grapple, were conducted to develop the hydrogen bomb, with the first test in 1957.

  • Modern Era:
Since the decommissioning of tactical nuclear weapons in 1998, the Trident missile system, launched from submarines, has been the UK's sole nuclear weapons system.

Solid attack by Israel and a moment for India to learn and understand that in a conflict you either go all in or you don't go at all.

Ruskis made this mistake with their half assed invasion that has now blown over their faces and haunts them 3 years down the line.
I don't think that Russia went in half-assed. Russian equipment did not work. Remember the 40km traffic jam of armour?

Well, this is a good strike by Iran (unlike the useless strikes they did yesterday on population centers). Iran needs to target strategic military and economic targets if they want to survive.

I guess Israel will start blowing up their refineries tomorrow.
They are already hitting depots. Because the damage to the refinery in Haifa was apparently contained fast enough. Just like us in op sindoor both sides are sem2sem escalatory ladder in strategic and critical assets. Let's see if Israel escalates to actually destroying the Iranian economy tomorrow, but that carries the risk of Iran hitting Tel Aviv with all of its most sophisticated systems. If that happens bye bye Tel Aviv for sure

Has Iran tried to hit any military target yet like airfield, they seem to have only targeted civilian area earlier and now moving to economic targets.

Based on what I have observed so far, Iranian strategy seems to be:

a. Survive USA/Israeli bombing raids
b. Make sure regime survives the destabilization attempt. Iran has not cleaned the house like Russia did after Putin took command
c. Fire less sophisticated (cheaper) missiles first to deplete USA/Israeli AD missile stock
d. Once Israeli AD missile stock is depleted, carry out precision strikes against Israeli HVTs
e. Count on the fortified military facilities to withstand USA/Israeli air strikes

Iranians are using the above mentioned tactics because they do not have good air force; worse yet, they do not have good AD system in place; if they had reliable A2/AD platforms, they would have been in a much better position. I am not sure why Iran did not procure something like S-400s from Russia; S-400s would have come in handy against F-35s.

Their missiles are missing the targets by good 100 meters, either they aren't accurate or some serious gps spoofing is involved.
MIssile strike on civilian areas don't achieve anything Iran is not hitting civilian areas they're just missing the targets.

Irans eastern and central areas are still untouched right?
Russia is the only country who may resupply then.
