How effective will it be idk, but it will piss off the GCC countries and Iraq also.

A ground invasion is a 100% way to make the mullahs go, US doesn't want to commit and those other countries see no reason to get involved in this mess but closing the Hormuz may be the final straw

Gulf Arabs will lose their $$$ making capabilities and world oil prices will spike, there is a lot at stake.

Poor medvedev cannot imagine Israel gaining air superiority over Iran or US launching airstrikes on Iran from kentucky while ruskies get anally raped by a ex soviet state called Ukraine.

The Americans literally flew from the US all the way to Iran bombed them and went back no losses but poor ruskies are losing their bomber fleet on the ground to some modified DJI drone.

If and a big if this is true it just shows why Israel is so successful in the ME.

Have a hunch that eyeranians will only do this if Khamenei gets assassinated, as its a total suicide move. They're probably saving this as a final option if the regime is in real danger of going down and nothing to lose.

There will also be a multi national bombing campaign to be sure they have no missiles next and possibly a boots on ground invasion by the same coalition.

This is an era of war and nobody likes spiking oil prices.

"We will close the Hormuz o American dog" only works as a threat, not in practice, especially in the current scenario where Poorsians have no leverage whatsoever.

You don’t need to be a fortune teller to understand what would happen here.

Iran does not have a navy or an airforce to actually close the strait. The reason that threat had any value was because it was a threat. The moment they do it they lose everything they know it everything in the ME knows it.

It was a always a threat because they knew they could never actually get away it. All bluff like their thousands of missiles everyday.

In war stuff can change rapidly
Lets see what iran brings chongs so far didn't do anything besides providing hardware and diplomatic support
Biggest defeat would be of chongs if Iranian regime falls,
1.America will be seen as reliable ally and China a backstabber
2.China would lose unprecedented access to ME which would be a huge failure they will be cutoff from region.
3.China would lose key ally and an important partner(so would india though) but china would regret not been able to optimize the pro-china regime and maximise gain,if you think about this china could've done a lot more via iran,threating US military presence in the region

Now if US gets involved entirely(which seems to be the case since iran might seize the strait) then the position of china and russia(of giving hardware and diplomatic support) might change and they could get involved in more than now.
If it doesn't then it would be seen as a cowardly act and would be detrimental for "global superpower" image and anti-US camp

So, The story is. Israel held a press conference and provided some visualizations on how hezbollah embeds its weaponary in civil areas. As expected from bullah, they will try to mock it.
