Israel x Iran Conflict (48 Viewers)

Same applies to USA. They have always backstabbed us.
Only two countries, Soviet Union and France never backstabbed us.
Israel also makes it to the list, consequently, their support has never been about ideology, but business.

I don't advocate backstabbing Israel either, heck no, not for Greens atleast. But every step with them must be measured and done with give and take. Non of this pink pompom fanboi business we see nowadays aka Retd Major Gaurav Arya.
As long as Israel is in inimical terms with the Arab world & that includes the Arab street they'd be on good terms with us irrespective they establish diplomatic relations with countries like KSA , Qatar , Oman , Bahrain , etc .

I'd go so far as to argue given the open hostilities they're facing mostly from the EU & from sections of the US as of the present , they're cognizant of the fact that the blank cheque they've got from the west is not indefinite especially given civil society there has been deeply infiltrated by the greens which in turn is being reflected in their legislatures viz - Ilhan Omar , Rashida Tlaib & others in the US or a Sajid Khan in the UK & so on.

Ideally they'd like to have good relations with China as well just that they'd have to toe the US line there. And that also holds true for their relationship with us.

This is important , for our relationship with the Arab or the wider Islamic world will always be transactional. There will always be a trust deficit with them given the nature of our polity .

Our hopes then lie in good relations with East Asia minus China , SE Asia minus the Islamic countries there , non Muslim Africa , Russia & South America. There may be exceptions here or there like France but as you may well know exceptions only prove the rule.

These are the regions we can have a wholesome relationship with . All the others come under this 👇 category.

The base was empty. Iran is such a joke attacking an empty base. But I still don't understand why Qatar launched missiles to intercept BMs. They were directed towards empty fields.

India needs at least six aircraft carriers and a fleet of 70 submarines to effectively project power and secure its interests in the Strait of Hormuz. Safeguarding these critical maritime trade routes is essential for India’s economic and strategic security.
Your dream will take atleast 20 years to be fulfilled. Till then.. Play chess.

It was all planned out that way, A song and dance to give the mullah regime a face saver while a deal is signed and they give up the enriched materiel

Well Indian navy ambition is to become a net security provider of Indian Ocean and 6 AC is overkill. We should develop our Lakshadweep islands into Navy bases to launch operations which are unsinkable aircraft carrier. Leverage Oman’s Daqum port for naval operations as of now we can only berth and refuel our naval ships. We need dedicated SSN and Destroyers In numbers to project power anywhere near Hormuz

Succinct! Doing business with someone and trusting someone are two entirely different ballgames.

Best case scenario might have played out for India. There must be some anger in Iranian regime towards Pakistan, the whole optics of Munir lunch and US strikes just the following weekend. Iranian president has talked to India and they allowed Indian evacuation flights but nothing similar done with Pakistan during this timeline.

Regime continues although much weakened, maybe the more liberal and reformist sections can exert power, with hardliners getting sidelined possibly. One thing is sure that there will be no Iranian nuclear weapon program. There might be opening up with west and gradual reduction of sanctions which means greater competition to Indian strategic & business needs. Right now the only competition is from China.

Israel too after this war is in a more comfortable situation vis-a-vis Iran. Netanyahu is in a stronger position politically and legacy wise.
