Israelis will come out stronger and work on their weaknesses. Next time Iran will face a better prepared Israel.
Israel actually didn't show any failures beyond the ones based on chance or due to saturated AD systems.
Iran on the other hand clearly saw all of it's weaknesses and a civilian could tell them what they need to fix. Given enough time, Iran could actually hold out longer and inflict actual casualties to Israel. Providing outdated AD systems to aligned militias in Syria and Iraq would be a good start, just to inhibit freedom of movement for Israeli refuellers.
Having proper AD systems with trained troops who don't run and leave them out in the open would be a good idea too.
The biggest thing Iranian need to do is purge Mossad cells within their country.
I don't see that happening.
For all their talk of martyrdom, I didn't see a single mullah in Iran giving a speech or risking their lives. Khameini is still tweeting from inside a bunker.
When we talk of dying for a cause, we do think deeply of what comes after. Not svarg and narak but for the family, for the society, the satisfaction it will give the people who hate us, the grief of the people who love us.
I'm going to armchair psychology this and say- I feel like the mullahs don't do this. They get swept away in the wave of crowd's enthusiasm and when death stares them in the eye, they quit.
Never trust someone's bravado who claims they're willing to die at the drop of a hat. They haven't thought it through.
The fact that most fedayeens in Kashmir or the ones in Pathankot attack were found with drugs further proves it to me.
