You can forget about Jaitapur & Ratnagiri Refinery. If I'm not mistaken KSA has already withdrawn from the project. So who's going to partner our oil PSUs in it ?

Ya'll Nibbiars even of KSA withdrawal, PSU are still committed to go on this one, will giver them capacity and also means to compete with the RIL in exports of both Petroleum and based products of Polymer, even at half the size previously planned. Large scale unit has advantage of scale of both economies capacity and productivity compared to the smaller refineries.

Not for her, Sana mohtarma didn't bother asking for any Hindu votes despite the alliance, quite a few in this area eg whole of BARC and some areas nearby would have been allergic to voting for an NCP Muslim candidate. At any rate it was expected quite a few of these votes would go to the MNS candidate which would have helped the Yuti candidate sweep this one. It's one of those seats they wouldnt have minded losing because of the image problem it would create.
With 2 rounds she has a slender 1500 vote lead now.

You do realize that they received 47% and 55% of the votes in 2024 and 2019 LS respectively, right? That they would have likely formed the govt this time even after ceding 3% of their LS 2024 VS? Their local leadership is incompetent, accept it. Used to think WB had the weakest BJP leadership in all of East but guess I was wrong!

I don't like the perpetually incumbent MLA sahib because he is still Panvel MLA and forgets about Kharghar except to make property tax and other money making efforts, 0 efforts in maintenance or development, except painting PANVEL on every single road once.

In Karnataka no development happens anywhere outside Bang galore . The rest of the state gets bang galored. What are you fretting about ?! At least Belgaon has wonderful weather all year around & up there in North Karnataka is the only city of worth .

Besides North Karnataka has always been a backward area. OTOH if there was no Bang galore in Karnataka , it'd been economically worse than Gerala. At least Gerala has a money order economy. What does Karnataka have besides Bang galore ?

Same goes for Haryana also, nothing without Gurugram.

I am not sure but in nw none of the industrial parks ever bloom. Dunno when north west shall be rejuvenated. I want high payingindustries and service sector to start in north west area - so that this region can also participate in india growth story 2.0

Only TN and Gujarat have distributed development.

Maharashtra has Pune & Greater Pune , then there's Nagpur which is developing rapidly into a hub for Central India thanks to double engine of Gadkari & Fadnavis . Kolhapur & Nashik are proper Tier 3 or 4 cities in their own right.

Then there are decently sized Tier 4 & 5 cities like Sholapur , Aurangabad , Ahmednagar etc . Of course to crown it all you've Mumbai & Greater Mumbai region.
