People screeching "muh chirschun" "muh conversion" ignoring that in general the tribals have the "OUTSIDER BAD, BJP OUTSIDER PARTY, VOTE FOR POOR ZAAT-BHOI WHO WENT TO JAIL" khujli in them.
They have a politician called Arjun Munda, why didn't they deploy him or any other prominent tribal leader instead of Himanta and all is a wonder.

if in only 2 districts there are greens then i don't think the illegal immigrant angle would have worked, with the ads i was expecting all of eastern jharkhand was infested with Rockybuls

Read properly... first those maps are of 2011... accuracy uncertain... 13 yrs have passed.

Then... 7 districts had 20%+ muslim population... 2 of them in North-eastern Jharkhand have 30%+

What we see is greens spreading from East to West.

In 2011... 3 districts had 20%+ Christian population... including one with 51%

Missionaries spreading in South Western to North Eastern direction.

That's 7+3 = 10/24... 40% of the districts f**ked by conversion... that too 13 yrs back in 2011.

Its not just BJP but all hindu culture must change. We must root out this whole caste system, why do you think the tribals and sc/sts are converting to the desert cults, becuase their own dharmic brothers ("upper castes") are not letting them have the basic human dignity they deserve, it's another matter to debate if the desert cults are actually doing them any good. But as long as the people from these affected tribes and castes continue to see the upper castes as discriminating against them they will believe any chooran the desert cults will sell and convert.

Conversions are not the main drivers for losing BJP votes IMO. Chattisgarh, Odiya tribal belt, Arunachal Pradesh etc. all have significant christoid conversion issues and they voted bjp.
The main issue is, tribal regions have STRONG tribal ethnic affiliation identity, same with the whole Yadav stuff in UP-Bihar or Jutt in Punjab-Haryana.
BJP ignored this aspect of Jharkhand election and paid the price IMO.

Critical to reverse conversion trend though. My cousin was in AP for some Army thing and said the conversion factor isn't as bad as people think, which was good to hear. But still, it has to be stopped
