My God when are we going to remove these eyesore of a helmet.
Do generols think this kind of photo op reassures anyone?

Do we know if these helmets are made of ballistic materials?.

I know that they stop 9mm just like a regular ACH. And we no m don't right now have mountable comtacs or nvgs in enough number in the 1st place

I love how I write a whole ahh article describing something and then after few days a random guy, who was not even part of that discussion comes in to nonchalantly post a pic that summarise everything I'd written and feel like an absolute idiot for writing a Shakespearean play. It happens all the time

Anyways, thanks Jay Baahu 🫡
But when did we ever use optics with an AK/Insas for our men to be trained on those lines or retain muscle memory. The mods from Fab defense or SSS were extremely limited afaik. Our men don't even use the flip-on sights on these Sigs

Unlike the Marcos, IA and their SOF don't seem to learn from their western counterparts during joint exercises
I hope you got your answer Mate

Bhakk...it's just fibreglass with some kind of resin or epoxy.

And ya, they can stop a 9mm but there's a caveat in that too. It's not your regular 9mm ball, rather it's reduced load cartridge

Not ballistic material but some kind of fiber glass that can barely stop 9mm and sharpnels with no facilitation of attachments.

Only kavro Doma 360 offered by MKU has high caliber protection.

And I belive they are way more costly than ACH.

We don't take advantage of our cheap labour force. There is a requirement of about 5 million helmets all forces and paramilitary included. This should be enough reason to mass produce them but we can't match the demand because the helmet must have been patented by MKU and there is only a certain amount they can produce per annnun. Let's say 50000 a year. This is all subject to how many employees they have but they won't scale employee number well aware of the fact that the orders will dry up after a few years.

They do file patent for designs it seems.

If they sell the production rights to OFB than we can raise the production rate.
