Naxal Maoist Insurgency

Could also be a local Myanmar variant. This first gen G3 variant with that specific handguard was phased out by the pakis as well. So either the gun went around a lot of places before landing there or it was smuggled via North East from Myanmar.
Could be, but what's interesting is that weapons usually leave a "trail" behind them.

On a large scale you'd find pieces of the same cache throughout the whole route, from infiltration to its end customer. On a smaller scale, you'd find traces of technology on a gun like you can trace back a katta to its specific place.

But these G3 are just appearing out of nowhere without any trail. FAL, INSAS, AK; makes sense as all are looted from forces. Shotgun, M1 Garand, Rifles; again makes sense as all get looted from civilian/veterans. Same for all the kattas, bharmaar and bandooks; all country made. But random G3!

They will definitely have someone look over this G3 trail. Its not something that you expect to find with these commie retards.
