When things can desperate you can create division among Native and imported Kukis. Right now brotherhood wave is riding high due to profits being made from Golden Triangle.

But ever think why Assamese Malsi hate BD Malsis residing illegaly in Assam? I think the answer may be give clues on how such division among Native Kukis and Imported Kukis. The idea is to safe gaurd Native Meitis and Natives Kukis at all costs by finding out way to shake them out of illusion-ment that there inter border brotherhood of some kind.

GoI should do equal-equal with Mithais and Cookies on the outside but their support should be mostly towards Mithais as long as the purpose is the same of blasting the "Kurds of Asia" into sanity .

Mithais must not come out 56" chested out of this conflict else they'll start their own Secessionism 2 : Kangleipak Boogaloo.

Insurgency in N.E should not be treated the same way we do in Kashmir or Naxal belt. Mostly dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to solve it.

They know the iron is hot and are looking to strike right now.

Also, cede an inch here and others will start demanding concessions too. Are you aware that Meghalaya is demanding ILP? And has stalled a railway in protest because the GoI is refusing to budge?

The union of India survives because the GoI has been absolutely rutheless to anyone who dared to challenge the state machinery over the years. They offer concessions and political autonomy (to a very limited extent) but it is the gormint that gets to dictate the terms. Not the tangos.
