I don't think they were getting anything that could have changed the things in some dramatic way, in the scenario where we had continued to pummel pakis. Pakistan doesn't have the capacity to escalate the conflict by hitting indian military locations, then know fauji foundation will be fucked.

But nobody highlights that at the cost of two squadron worth of imported fighter jets... entire Indian Artillery can be modernized with induction of 3000+ 155/52 guns of different types.

While the endless wait for jets continue... we should move the Iranian way... missiles plus loitering munitions in tens of thousands.

Maybe we have a 1500+ brahmos of all types... still less... build 1500 more... manufacture the pralay missile in thousands... induct dozens of regiments of long range/guided pinaka.

Modernize the infantry gear & communications to match global standards.

By massive buildup in these and some other areas we can compensate for lack of Airpower.

Just mass produce everything that we can and we will hold the 2/3 fronts to a stalemate no matter how bloody it will get.

When it comes to requirements of army... we produce every damn thing here... so why such precarious state of the force... whose thinking/planning is responsible?

Operation Sindoor shattered the myth I had about Pakistan Air Force and its air defence systems. I always knew they were weak, but the fact that 11 Pakistani airbases were targeted was beyond anything I ever imagined. Even during the 1971 war, Indian Air Force didn’t strike this deep inside Pakistan.
