OP Sindoor has clearly demonstrated one thing crystal clearly.
PAF was afraid like hell to take on offensive role. Meteor functional or not (likely Functional IMO) keeping that aside; PAF was scared like hell to undertake any offensive mission, they were worried about the defensive posture of IAF and Indian Air Defence. Multilayered networked SAM coverage all along western and Northern border with CAP of Fighters buzzing with BVRAAM of IAF - Meteor, ASTRA-1 and New Stock of R77 gave their planners nightmare and big jolt to their psyche. They were just not prepared/ not even wargamed to take on offensive role with an intact AD. Their operational planning was found wanting as they never anticipated or expected Indian Army , and Air-Force to successfully do precision air-strikes so deep inside Punjab. Whatever being said, PAF clearly miscalculated the Quantum of Indian Response and whatever face saving they tried with Baniyan Manhoos failed. Their Air-Force was so underconfident & scared after failed CM400, and loss of AirBorne Awareness once S400 had their first victim that they had to rely on their Rocket force to launch S2S weapons in desperation. IAF became a monster from 8th once they were given offensive role without ROE restrictions. Even our old daddy Jags had a free ride with Rampage. What a moment and week that was.

IMO lets not give fire to speculation based on Dassault CEO. PPT of Def attaché in Indonesia and statement of CDS appears to be more in line about ground reality. We can blame it on ROE based on Armed forces version. "We identified our Tactical mistake, corrected it and all our air-assets were back in air."

Who said the fighter jet was shot down at 36000 feet. It was trying to RTB and was flying low to evade radar.

No one said 3 aircrafts or particular type of Aircraft shot down. Its your delusion. Discussion was about refuting the claim of Dassault CEO of fratricide. Go through my post again. There is no point in discussing losses. End result is important. rather, it should be made public why we stopped suddenly when we were at TOP. I my view , GOV has failed in this area. 1. PAK's china equipment failed at the time of crises .
2. India did hit big time inside PAK , on all air bases including Nur-khan/Kirana .

4. PAK surrendered their NUK to US and asked for ceasefire against India. Might be?
5. DJT arm twisted Munira to get his personal benefits in crypto first.
6. DJT did tried to pressure India to give in , India did not responded.
7. In end compromise reached with guarantee that US will take care of PAK's Nuk and any further incident in India will be dealt with major blow to PAK.
8. USA tried to push for release of IWT by pressuring India but we did not agree.
9. Now PAKArmy is completely surrendered to USA where as PAK GOV is trying to toe to China.
10. This will explode in time to come as neither Munira nor Shahbaj is going to be permanent there.
