Dassault CEO Confirms No Combat Losses of Indian Rafale Jets. Just one Technical Incident Under Probe

Eric Trappier has confirmed that no Indian Air Force Rafale jets have been lost in combat to enemy fire.

rappier acknowledged a separate incident involving a Rafale that suffered a technical failure at over 12,000 meters. The event, which did not involve enemy contact or hostile radar, resulted in what has been described as "fracticide", and an investigation into the technical cause is currently underway.

It is fully integrated, as your birds are F3R + some indian specifics.

If IAF choose not to put it under the wings for this special mission (because mainly air to ground mission, because no PAF answer expected, because not want to release one of this precious missile in foe lands (as PL-15 found intact in indian field), ??? )

No full potential ? Maybe because a lack of AWACS ? Maybe because a lack of proper data link....

defence budget is a separate issue.

but yes, Indian government not just now but for decades, does not want to seen as a warmongering nation. any nation which openly talks about intent to conduct war, will face the hammer from rest of the world. we know how your favourite people :ROFLMAO: ruined iran and syria when they openly expressed military intent.

same with pakistan, the more they encouraged proxy war with India since 89, the more their foreign policy space shrinked.

yes it is the babus who advise PMO on these foreign policy statements, not just for the current PM, for past and future PMs also.

if it was the case, there will be a historical record somewhere in some document or a book. present the case, then we can discuss. as always, i don't mind being proven wrong, but evidence has to be strong not strawman argument.

if what you said was true, they won't be running IDEX programmes, encouraging defence startups, reducing timelines for defence acquisitions etc. these things come directly under babu domain. data says, babus have been expanding domestic defence sector for past decade.

chindigiri will always be there in all ministries. we are not a rich country. there is always so much to do, with low tax base available.

Per his statement there will be 2.5% GDP defense spending by 2030.

I don't know whether the hike will come next year or will they hike it in small increments for the current 1.9%

Perhaps they have big ticked purchases in mind.
