The opposition is 100% going to milk this issue dry. Cheap ammo for critics to run a marathon over newspapers for a week. So both GoI and IAF need to sort house before lore dumping.

If IAF would think along your line of thought they would stop even using some of those expensive jets. Asset losses are normal in any conflict..Just deal with it.

My question is price of one rafale is between 100 million to 288 million and we took somewhat 34....
why didn't we allotted even 10% of that budget to reverse engineering in the jet engine technology...forget Kaveri engine....what is stopping our PM to give strict message to all the concern party who are in development or related to the development of engine to bring best mind in this zone were we are lacking...

Pakis CANNOT fight an extended war, even if Chinis and Turkeys openly supply them. They still will not be able to sustain a war for more than 1 week. You need a good economy to run a war, and a very good military-industrial complex to keep your forces supplied.

Dude calm down . We lost 2/3 fighterjets against a adversary having awacs , long range air defence missiles , long range air to air missiles , chinese satellites support , lockheed martin radars , chinese long range radars , 4.5 gen jets like f16 , j10 etc etc . Not some militia . It is very much expected .

Mission was still completed .. not only destroyed their terrorist base but also their air bases . Radars , lunchers , awacs, command and control centers , mobile command and control centers , underground missile storage facility , c130 , UAVs , runways and last but not the least their nuclear storage facility .. Everything with video and satellite images . And their assault was complete failure . I cnt believe the commotions over some fighterjets which we equally downed on their side as well . Asset loss is not a big deal we ll buy more , we are a 4 tr economy .
