It's clear that India has established a new 'normal', which is a military response to any terrorist attack on Indian soil.

The logical thing for Pakis to do would be to dial down the intensity of individual incidents and dial up the frequency of low level attacks, thereby playing with the 'response threshold'.

Till Pakistan remains a breeding ground for terrorists, this will never end. A 'permanent' solution is needed that would address the root cause of the 'bleeding by a thousand cuts' approach.

India definitely used MKIII top down attack missile on Bholari, no other missile can puncture the complete hanger like Bholari after breaking through hardened shelter… we can see the debris flung meters away from inside the hanger to all sides

its not that only mk3 or newer version can do such damage, even old 290 km pre mtcr brahmos can do such damage. its the warhead which is important, and i am damn sure sebex 2 got tested and it created meters deep craters and debris flying away.

No MK3 is capable of Top down 90 degree vertical hit,

MK1 is Sea skirmishing naval version
MK2 is land attack version

Both of these has S-move at the end to avoid any close in weapon systems.

MK3 is Top down vertical hit

All of them can carry similar payloads…

This could be part of Pakistan's plan to

1. Prove India is the aggressor, who acted disproportionately, hence is an irresponsible actor.

2. To get more loans and aid for the "alleged" devastation caused by Indian attack.

There is absolutely no need for India to not to disclose the actual number of targets they hit. On the contrary, India would have proudly proclaimed they hit several targets in Pakistan.

It is not easy to hide such things, especially when everyone is walking around with smartphones.

Spending 8-10% gdp on defence is how a country goes bankrupt. The pakis spend around that much on their defence. Look at their state now. Su-30 MKI fighter fleet should be maintained at its current numbers. While it is a supremely aerodynamic plane, it's massive RCS means that it will become outdated in the 2040s and hopefully we can replace them with our own stealth heavy fighters.

I believe that the best course of action is to keep defence spending at just over 2% of our gdp. It means that the spending with grow as our economy grows. So, if we have an economy of 5 trillion dollars in 2027, the budget will be 100+ billion dollars, if the economy is 10 trillion dollars in 2034, we'll have 200+ billion dollars, etc. I agree on everything else.
