Operation Sindoor

Destroying Naval ships comes very high up in the escalation ladder, will also invite bad eye from rest of the world.

Besides each ships has 200 to 250 silaors. At least 1 to 2k will die if that's tha case and Pakistan won't be able to resist a full blow war at that point.

Pak Navy total value is 7 billion low end to 12 billion high end. If we do end up sinking 75% of the ship than they would have to dat mud to rebuild it.

@Binayak95 what's your opinion.
Hi Suryavanshi, I had posted earlier that now is not the time to question our forces - but really, who wrote this so called 'escalation ladder' and who is stopping us from re writing it.
That's where the national security strategy comes into picture.
As already called out, we need to write our own strategy.

Will debate about this 4 weeks from now. 👍🏼

Exactly, before UAE mediated bs ceasefire, pakis were running on low ammo due to our near constant shelling. Their re-stocking was the main thing i was afraid at the time.
I can make this debate more complex if you want. The scenario in case things escalate, I would like them to be bogged down in LOC and use their artillery exhaustively. LOC in any case in not our natural jump point to capture their territory. I want our infantry's ingress spared from artillery pounding, as our IBGs will attempt to ingress from the planes.
Sorry for being an overthinking dick.

LMAO

Keeping Memes aside

IAF shoudl just debunk it.

The Hindu , Western Media are copying

ISPR wording

"So and so jets lost"

In Balakote, too IAF and MoD were not prompt.

The longer IAF & GOI takes to respond, the longer they're allowing the seeds of doubts from propaganda to grow.

We have:

1. One unknown crashed aircraft at Akhnoor
2. A video of engine in field that resemble Rafales'.
3. Something crashed near Bhatinda.

There is no doubt that Narendra Modi’s determination in war is as strong as that of Indira Gandhi.

War ka pata nahi but even when there is pressure to the contrary and no incentive to do anything, he still gets sh*t done either because of duty, promise to voters or both.

My mom told me this news in the morning and I was like "ok" and went to sleep, after I woke up I read they news and couldn't believe that Modi gave a response and that to in Punjab including Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Lawhore( Muridke ) and Muzzafarabad in PoK.

People here are bangle breaking about rumored jet losses but I am shocked and happy that he has moved beyond the previous Balakot strike by hitting jihadi madarsas in their main cities, next stop is banging Paapi armed forces assets.

In an actual war the losses would be higher. Entire battalions would get wiped. We should go back to the UPA days of playing dossier dossier if we do not have the stomach to digest simple losses.

And above all, there is no official confirmation of a crash as of yet. Heck, handles of some Indian embassies have even debunked such claims.

All the conversation about potential loos of aircrafts have nothing to do with the cost or being unable to stomach losses.
Potential loss of the best fighter in our inventory against a country like Pakistan shows that they can match us in capability despite being 1/10 of the economy. That's not good. It's also neither good for optics nor for deterrence.

Loss of a fighter jet matters. Jets like Rafale are 100 USD 100 million. The entire terror infrastructure destroyed last night will still be less than the total cost of missiles we used let alone a Single Rafale jet.
Cost vs Cost if we lose mich more money than Pakistan does, we are not winning. We cant win a war if every time we attack we loose our jets/ships. Ground vehicles are a different thing.
No sir! Cost of human life of ordinary Indians is more and losing 100 such jets to kill and neutralize enemy who may come and kill your people at will is simply okay. Losing a Trained fighter pilot in a battle is worser than losing the plane

Propaganda never won wars.

You guys are just annoyed with online trolling.

Don't play it on their rules, play it by yours.

Just like there is no conclusive proof of Balakot and they make fun using "trees hit" here since there is no conclusive evidence (just some Twitter videos) just exaggerate their claims and make fun of them - Actually Pak destroyed the entire Indian air force or something.

No need for IAF to respond.

No they can't.

They got bombed in their own country and we didn't even bring out the navy.

Don't play by their rules.

If India stops punishing Pakistan now (due to XYZ) then it will be Balakot 2.0 except that the terrorist attacks will not only continue, but will likely become more frequent.
Understand the Porki psyche, a punishment that has very little effect on him, or in a worse case that benefits him, will only embolden him and he will gravitate towards doing what he has been doing till now.

Pakistanis are again winning the info war thanks to their quick response from official govt. handles and owning up the narrative.
Everyone of their info warrior is one less real warrior or terrorist, its cheaper, thus they invest in it. Glad we dont have info wing, spend those money on actual power. Probably if we teach active personal to do a bit of it we can do this cheaply.

<putting on my 'think like a paki general' hat>

What options do I have to retaliate?

1. Blow one of my dams as false flag and use that as an excuse to hit high value industrial targets in India using PAF/cruise missiles?

Not sure that's smart because you're inviting Phase 2 of Op Sindoor.

2. Do a Swift Retard 2.0 and hope you can down another few IAF birds?

I'm giving this a 50% chance. Pakis are not known to be original thinkers and this is one of the few areas where they have a fighting chance. Hope we're better prepared this time and our AD is able to tackle the threat.

3. An equal-equal PGM strike on Indian mil bases in J&K. With an immediate statement that they've avenged the death of their inbred shaheed and call on their 3.5 fathers asking mudi ji to show ((( restraint ))).

30% chance. We will then hit their air bases and other assets, s we've declared already.

4. Atry shelling on LOC (which is on as we speak). Try and hit Indian villages near the border.

This has the benefit (from their PoV) that our response will be proportionate. Wish leader ji authorises salami slicing and land grab as the cost of any such misadventure.

5. Do nothing and downhill ski on basis that Pak fauj ne unke saare tayyare gira diye.

20% chance
