Even Aditya Raj Kaul and Barkha Dutt posted about the captured Paki pilot lol. Mr. Kaul is usually legit, and an insider.

I guess it must have caused Pakis massive depression for 3 hours, so perhaps a successful trial run flood of misinformation.

The Indian Navy's attack on Karachi was my second favorite part, after the pilot capture.

But all in all, a wasted morning for me here in the US.

Unless and until Pakistan tries another misadventure, are we going to respond to the drone attack, or is that enough? Since we successfully intercepted them, and we're practically a winner at this point.

We should definitely head towards a third round of attack considering the civilian casualties at border and today's escalation by Pak irrespective of its failed outcome.

But my hunch is the govt will scale down as Pakistan has not achieved its objectives in today's attack and India has enough W in the form of real footage of May 7 strikes, one HVT elimination, damage to Paki AD, the ability and audacity to strike deep into enemy territory at will.

These are enough take home points for all elections in the foreseeable future and Modi's name is guaranteed to be etched in history. India's tone has been non escalatory from Day 1 of strike.

Pakistan will also claim victory from the exaggerated number of its jet kills until we get official confirmation.

In old nokia 6300, i watched that horrible beheading video back when i was in school. I saw complete video without any filter on video with their arabic sounding shouting. That was the first ever i saw a gore video. That was the time hatred against Islamists became absolute.

Global Impact of the India-Pakistan Conflict

Even military aircraft have not breached the established borderlines—a positive sign, as any such move would likely be seen as a formal declaration of war.

Initial reports suggest that the Indian Navy has launched long-range missiles from positions just outside Pakistan’s naval zone. This action signals a strong show of force—meant to intimidate rather than escalate into full-scale war.

The standout development during these two days of hostilities has been the performance of India’s Integrated Air Defence System. It successfully intercepted and destroyed all incoming drones before they could reach their targets. Additionally, the Indian Air Force achieved a significant tactical victory by downing two Pakistani JF-17 fighters and two F-16s using advanced long-range surface-to-air missiles.

Should the situation escalate, the Indian Navy is capable of neutralizing Pakistan’s key naval base at Karachi, as it did in 1971. Currently, the Pakistani Navy is no match for the Indian fleet positioned at the mouth of Karachi’s harbour.
