We are to China what Pakistan is to us .

The good thing is that China does not want a fight with India as they have bigger fish to fry.

Highly object to this "we are to China what Pakistan is to us". Though we are behind China by a distance, that gap is not as long as between India and Pakistan.

1. Our population and workforce is simlilar to China while Pakistan has 5x less population than us.
2. Our economy is 10x larger than Pakistan while Chinese GDP is 4x that of India. And that GDP of Pakistan is anyway fake as their consumption data shows.
3. While Chinese are far ahead of us in R&D in most of the sectors, we compete with them to some extent in some sectors. Eg: missile technology, space, quantum computing, etc. OTOH, indigenous R&D in Pakistan is non-existent.
4. Though Chinese are manufacturing powerhouse and far ahead than us, we also have decent domestic manufacturing. OTOH, Pakis have nearly non-existent manufacturing of any type, except textile.
5. The same is the case in armed forces, may be except air force. Least said about the navy, the better.
6. Most importantly, the mindset. India and China have similar mindset to succeed and become powerhouses, though China has already become one. Pakistan's mindset is only to do sem2sem with us and be a nuisance in our lives. Nothing more. We will rarely find anyone more deluded than a Paki.

Sure china is only 4 times larger than us but the actual difference is like 15 trillion vs just 3.5 trillion difference between India and Pakistan.

They can sustain war for infinity based on their economy and their manufacturing...they need no external help to produce anything in their defence arsenal ,have far bigger and modern airforce,far bigger navy ,hugely superior sumarine fleet ,vast satellite network and fully global positional system.

So instead of equating with them we better keep out mouth shut and develop for 10 -15 more years to reduce the gap.

There's a 5-6 year waiting period for new deliveries considering the backlog AFAIK. At that point, Tejas Mk2 will have entered production. If we're smart, we'll be spending like crazy to make an indigenous jet engine and fast tracking both AMCA and Tejas Mk2.

So 2 days back it showed Pakis given "upper hand" in the casualty section but strangely that section is blank /removed now. May be some admin is waiting so that more credible news come or basically not allowing Pakijeet to post crap? What do you say?

There's a 5-6 year waiting period for new deliveries considering the backlog AFAIK. At that point, Tejas Mk2 will have entered production. If we're smart, we'll be spending like crazy to make an indigenous jet engine and fast tracking both AMCA and Tejas Mk2.

AMCA should not be rushed ,should just get 2-3 squadrons of su-57 as stop gap till 2030.

Just focus fully on tejas mk1 and 2.

Make a dedicated program for jet engines with proper funding and hiring with no salary celling to attract the best.

Similar programs for other remaining critical components that need mastering.

Akash is too expensive to be used against cheap Chinese and Turkish drones. Simple AA guns integrated with radar and control computer were used. It is very cheap and effective anti-drone weapon.

If you look at Army Air Defence, it has softkill systems like D4 and Himshakti etc, and kinetic kill systems like guns, short range SPAAGS, short range Akash, QR SAM and mid range MRSAM.
The Akashteer system gets data from all sensors attached to these systems( Radars, IFFs, Optical sights, cameras etc.) and assigns the best intercept method based on the type of threat. So if a threat is moving at a height and speed and along a vector that it can be intercepted by a gun, the Akashteer system will find that gun and assign it that target.
I might be wrong w.r.t systems, but this is the concept. IACCS does it at a much larger scale.

So you don't necessarily shoot a small quadcopter with Akash.

Why didn't they take out paki assets right next to it instead of hitting the runway?

Every time pakis try something, they are aiming for maximum attrition.

A golden opportunity to hit paki air bases and we have dug up some asphalt.

Taking out paki assets means only the loss of those assets while other surviving assets can still take off. Taking out the runway means that the entire base is rendered useless, a total softkill. Runway hits are game changers because they deny the planes the ability to take off. They essentially become paperweights or hangar queens.
