Sure china is only 4 times larger than us but the actual difference is like 15 trillion vs just 3.5 trillion difference between India and Pakistan.

They can sustain war for infinity based on their economy and their manufacturing...they need no external help to produce anything in their defence arsenal ,have far bigger and modern airforce,far bigger navy ,hugely superior sumarine fleet ,vast satellite network and fully global positional system.

So instead of equating with them we better keep out mouth shut and develop for 10 -15 more years to reduce the gap.

Akash is too expensive to be used against cheap Chinese and Turkish drones. Simple AA guns integrated with radar and control computer were used. It is very cheap and effective anti-drone weapon.

If you look at Army Air Defence, it has softkill systems like D4 and Himshakti etc, and kinetic kill systems like guns, short range SPAAGS, short range Akash, QR SAM and mid range MRSAM.
The Akashteer system gets data from all sensors attached to these systems( Radars, IFFs, Optical sights, cameras etc.) and assigns the best intercept method based on the type of threat. So if a threat is moving at a height and speed and along a vector that it can be intercepted by a gun, the Akashteer system will find that gun and assign it that target.
I might be wrong w.r.t systems, but this is the concept. IACCS does it at a much larger scale.

So you don't necessarily shoot a small quadcopter with Akash.

Why didn't they take out paki assets right next to it instead of hitting the runway?

Every time pakis try something, they are aiming for maximum attrition.

A golden opportunity to hit paki air bases and we have dug up some asphalt.

Taking out paki assets means only the loss of those assets while other surviving assets can still take off. Taking out the runway means that the entire base is rendered useless, a total softkill. Runway hits are game changers because they deny the planes the ability to take off. They essentially become paperweights or hangar queens.

People dont understand how much work a jet engine needs to do to suck air on Tibetan plateau,

if all forward air bases are taken out it will be very difficult for chini air force to have regular presence even defensive on this area and not to forget
how easily we can cut long supply lines of PLA to plateau by using III(Top Down Attack, 300 kg Tungsten head) with few hits it can break any kind of bridges and bunkers(ask pakis)

Lhasa is so close to Indian borders, its almost a puzzle to me why didnt India intervene when Chinese occupied Tibet in 1950… wtf chutia lehru was thinking,

India too uses airforce stations as civil airports, in punjab so there flights are not there . Adampur , bhatinda , amritsar etc .
So is the case in rajasthan and in gujrat, except ahmedabad and rajkot , others are airforce stations like bhuj , jamnagar etc . But but but , international planes can land here at civil only airports like Mumbai amd others , any otehr dual use airport was not hit by them.
As for pakis , Gujranwala, lahore , sargodha, etc were hit which are dual use .
All airports in pak are dual use only

I hate this retard so much, it's unreal. Kya maadarchod aadmi hai saala kutta.

There's a 5-6 year waiting period for new deliveries considering the backlog AFAIK. At that point, Tejas Mk2 will have entered production. If we're smart, we'll be spending like crazy to make an indigenous jet engine and fast tracking both AMCA and Tejas Mk2.

Even if Tejas MK2 enters production..it will take another 4 years for good numbers to add up..
If not 114 .. then 57 more Rafale.. we need to fill the gaps and attrition in combat and Readiness with Pakistan border semi hot..
