The PIB report you are referencing regarding no loss of assets was mostly about events from next day onwards when we launched an offence on military assets. From that moment on, the report says, we didnt lose any assets. Our losses, if any, are probable on the 1st day of conflict (atttack on terrorist bases) which this report doesnt talk about. This report is basically pitching for indigenous made in india weapons systems, which basically were deployed from 2nd day onwards.

What happened after the first night after 9 terrorist sites bombed no one knows Pakistan spread their propaganda they downed Rafale/ mirage and western media picked it up like a lapdog. IAF clarified all our pilots are back safely they started claiming Rafale pilot in custody. Now govt clarifies we haven’t lost any assets. Drones haven’t counted as they were used for attrition.

I have a feeling that something major changed in the armed forces.

That age old fascination with phoren maal has dampened a good bit. Indigenous upgrades/ weapons such as SAAMS and Sukhois proved as good as any alternative, if not much better.

Tejas MK1A's, MK2's with brahmos NG's and Upgraded Astras are gonna be an absoloute nightmare.

If we keep adding 10 percent to our defence budget (estimated at 75bil) ever year till 2030, it will be 120bil. If we increase 8 percent every year it will be 110billion. Pensions are not going to rise as fast. We will have a lot more leeway for purchase. Inbreds can never keep up no matter how much bheek chongs gives them.

I'm glad Sindoor escalated to where it did. Think about all the money that would have been spent on arm twisted foreign dogshit rather than indigenous weapons. I hope I'm not wrong, but Indian homegrown capacity has grown to the point where the armed forces will no longer have excuses to scuttle them.

And IAF not denying loss can also mean we lost bunshees and other UAVs.
I was talking about a hypothetical scenario that if we have lost (say) a fighter jet like (say) Rafale, people should not do rudaali as IAF is not made of 1 fighter jet alone.

No the point of Rafale or any another jet crash from IAF is not about the loss of that jet , But more about what did porki pigs have in their inventory which has brought down those jets , If i rafale has been shot down then i am more curious to know what brought it down then worrying about the crashed jet , remember if they have something up against your silver bullet of airforce and keeps those 35 jets away from the conflict then we are going to face really hard challenges in air battles in future .

If IAF had lost Rafale I don’t think their J10c would be left out from targeting. We would have destroyed J10c in hangers itself. No airforce would let go the advantage and target some support vehicles on AFB without seeking revenge.

Silver bullet/ Wunderwaffe is only a jhumla term used by French dallas and Import Marshalls to shill for the Rafale and our politicians to justify buying it to the clue-less masses in response to opposition's bullshit Eurofighter and F-16 shilling.

I am glad Rafale was used for the purpose for which it was bought, inspite of low numbers of airframes, idgaf if it was shot down and how it was shot down, It is IAF's responsibility to learn from all this as a professional force like they did from the L's received in 2019's Swift Retard.

They did their job of doing pela of PAF and Pakis in general so it is a win in my book, no point splitting hairs.

Rafale is easily the best non-Amerishart and non-Russian( who's entire catalogue we have bought already ) 4.5th gen FA which is ITAR-free.
